As I have received plenty from FTR it seems only fair that I can give back. I have come a long ways from where I once was. This was my first strategy post on FTR.

Over my experience thus far I have learned many different things along the way. It was decided that I was at a point where I possessed enough knowledge to finally give back to the community. So here we go.

A stranger is being shown around a village that he has just become part of. He is shown a well and his guide says "On any day except Saturday, you can shout any question down that well and you'll be told the answer."

The man seems pretty impressed, and so he shouts down: Why not on Saturday? and the voice from in the well shouts back: Because on Saturday, it’s your day in the well.

-yeah i mean this question is pretty vague in terms of like what you would like to hear. my guess is just be ready to open your game up. for any really moving up i think its alot about opening your game up. in the micros we learn to play nit because nit kills microstakes but as soon you are not playing vs total droolers you have to start to figure out where else to get your money. i think it really just becomes an adjustment to there being less and less fish and how to play more against regulars/better players.

-for the most part i dont usually need help with getting good at things but only recently have i realized how you cant become king shit in this game without help. whether that help be from other people that play only a stake off of what your range of stakes are or you get a coach (recommended). but i mean part of the problem human nature tends to be self serving, so it becomes difficult to find your own leaks as long as they are not like ultra glaring. also i have been playing less and less marathons. ive been taking more frequent breaks from my tables. every 2-3 hours or so ill tell tableninja to sit me out next blinds then ill go fuck around for liek 5 minutes and tell it to sit me back in on all next blinds. so you get the time your actually up walking around doing whatever plus the time it takes your tables to wind down then back up. so i find it to be a substantial amount of time.

How does it feel being the most powerful and curious of the zillas? Perhaps you can offer insight into the world of the zilla.

-sometimes it gets me into trouble, but it is also the source of my power. for knowledge is power kids. the world of zilla starts with being woken by phone (call/alarm) proceeding to school or lounging. followed by pokers (sometimes not). then sleeps and repeats. fit in good or microwave food and frands and woman where they fit appropriately.

Based on what you've seen of my game, what do you think?

-based on what ive seen of your game you buy too much into this he thinks that i thinks that he thinks that i thinks that he thinks that he knows i know that he knows that he thinks he knows that i know that i know he thinks he knows that i think. this results in poor results alot more than you will admit to me or anyone else. i give you credit for being able to think about and assess ranges of you and your opponent well though

-i think that they will always be able to be beat for a decent winrate provided you grow along with the game. if you dont though you will winless, tread water, then become sne grinder that loses 20k a year making sne

-used to be magic the gathering, but i assume you meant poker so ill go omaha me and fat played like a series of 30, 6 tabling omaha hu sngs and holdem it was rediculous. but i had a lot of fun even though i dont know how to play.

-no not really, i mean i listen to music while playing usually but i mean sometimes i dont. uhm during breaks however i will try to do something to get blood pumping like jumping jacks or walk around while im sitting out on all my tables. sometimes i just sit at the computer and watch clips for a few minutes before sitting back in

-when i was in high school i watched stupid shit like tilt on espn and the wsop events and stuff so me and a bunch of friends played live a ton. i would deposit the money i made live into my bank account and play online. running $50 up to like 650 in like 5 days then bust it playing under rolled at a larger stake that i shouldnt have been playing. near the end of this i found ftr the first time and read about BRM. got things better under control but still wasnt very good at BRM. then i got sent to rehab came back and played magic primarily but i still deposited on stars just to like have fun when i was bored and stuff. then all my cards got stolen when i went to a big event and i played poker primarily then and magic on the side. this is where i remembered ftr and came back and was a brm nit after all my terrible experiences busting rolls over and over again. i sailed through the micros with little to no trouble. ss is where it got bad when people were better i struggled but pushed through it to midstakes way premature broke even for a while then i started talking to people and getting coaching and stuff and my results have improved loads since.

Tell me more about your coach/ your experiences with coaching

-i got coached by dj sensei for a while but that was a pretty big mistake because he hates fullring..? and i didnt really learn a whole lot because he would just tell me what to do. so i would do what he told me without really knowing why it was good or whatever. my recommendation is if you get a coach you have to get them to help you with your reasoning. that is way more important than anything. also take alot of notes about shit that you learn or want to learn.

What training sites are you a member of?

-dooces cracked. though i dont really watch as many videos as i should i may watch like one a month. im really lazy though oddly enough i still download them all..

What has been the biggest factor that allowed you to advance through the stakes?

-uhm i think that volume is really underrated, i basically just played a ton up to about 100nl. i was lucky that i didnt really need a whole bunch of help to beat microstakes. then after that i didnt really put much volume in or work on my game much and struggled alot. after i hit the wall i guess you could say i treaded water for a marginal winrate then started to looking around for people to talk to about online internet poker online.

What is your favorite part about poker?

-winning. hands down nothing feels better than winning money. after a good sesh make like 2-3k then be like YEP thats what its aLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL about kids.

What do you hate about poker?

-ugh i really hate losing money and playing bad. losing money obv feels shitty because when people randomly talk to me about poker they are like oh mant hats so awesome blahblah then i tell them they are lucky they dont go to work for 8 hours and come out 4-5k lighter than when they went.

-playing bad. knowing that i made a terrible call or shove or whatever. its like knowing that you fucked up while driving by taking a wrong exit.

i dunno what the funniest thing is but it definitely hasn't happened recently since my best friend moved to california and i stopped getting loaded. probably just something like me getting kicked out of class for arguing with the teacher about something totally ridiculous. i got kicked out of business stats because i argued with a teacher about why he should call the alpha symbol "the fish" so we could as a class could be less confused and understand the distinction between symbols better.

the first time i drank booze it was with these two guys from high school when i was a freshman one of them was from ms13 and the other was some random Russian sophomore guy who decided we liked rap., we skipped class. the russian guy ended up getting really drunk so me and the Mexican guy started giving him shit for it. i ended up going back for the last class of the day because i thought i had a test. i didn't so i just spent the entire class talking to people and stumbling around. it was pretty bad but for some reason i guess the teacher didn't notice or care.

1, because 4-5 human lives imo does not exceed the damage done to genitals. also if you die because of these vegetable things it seems like you deserved it for venturing out on your own or leaving someone you care about in a situation where they could get eaten. so 1 because if you are smart you can avoid being significantly damaged where as in 2 the damage cannot be stopped only remedied.
