Hi all,
Just browsing the web looking for a great poker forum and happened to hit FTR.

My name is Alan and I'm originally from California, US. But now residing in Cambodia, SE Asia.
I usually play 1/2 or 2/5 NLHE live cash games. I don't think I'm ready for the big games yet since I just started learning how to play poker. I've only been playing for a little less than a year. I like the live games cos I love to socialize and meet new people.

There's a variety of casinos that you can choose from living in Cambodia, but I prefer smaller places like a poker club. Found one that's really nice, called Riverking. The best part about this place is the free food. Really helps reduce my bills every month. So, I mostly spend my time playing there.

For a beginner, a place like this forum really helps. Plus I like reading other people's experiences with poker. They could really help better my game play.

My goal is to learn this game better. I could easily make $40 a day just from playing poker and pay for my cost of living, since everything in Cambodia is so cheap.
