    Default 300$ bonus on 20$ deposit@ TGC

yes, it's easy to clear, I think I heard it's worth something like 20c/hand

    you should play .50/1 + to earn 3 bbp's / hand (300bbp= 20$)

(admins should edit to affiliate link if they are linked with TGC)

you won't find better place to build ur roll

Ah hell yeah. That sounds phat. Now I'm wondering if you need 50c/1$ NL blinds to get 3BR points per raked hands or 1/2. They only say 50/1 limit but do not specify on the NL. Maybe ill send em an email. Hopefully its 50/1 cause I dont really want to play that many hands at 200NL just yet.

The most bonus you can earn @ .5/1 limit is 400 BRP's, 300 BRP=$20. You really need to be able to play 2/4 in order to take full advantage of this bonus. Here is the chart:

    Table Bet Limit.............BRP's..................Maximum BRPs allowed

    $0.25/$0.50...................1......................... ..........300
    $0.50/$1.00...................3......................... ..........400
    $1.00/$2.00...................3......................... ..........800
    Higher...........................3................ ......Limited only by maximum
    promotion value

So if you are not willing to play limits larger than 1/2 the most you can earn is $100

I might sign-up and play 100 rakes at .5/1 and get my $20 and leave. I don't have any interest or the BR to play at 2/4 & couldn't be bothered playing 300 rakes at .25/.5 for $20.

That bites. I didn't see that chart either. I just started this yesterday. Never got the email to have the account activated, ended up calling the 800 number. The support was helpful in that he activated my account over the phone when I gave him my account name and email address. Then played .50/1.00 limit for 2 to 3 hours working on the bonus. Near the end of my session I noticed that when I looked at my BRP's, the message box said that I don't qualify for this bonus. I called the 800 number again, and the guy said that updating the BRP's is about 24 hours behind the action. So I'm curious to see where I stand BRP wise when I get home from work later. Like I said, I played for close to 3 hours, but I was only one tabling. I usually one table the first session when I go to a new site until I feel comfortable with the software etc.

I played the .50/1.00 limit, and I'll play the .25/.50 limit, and probably try 1.00/2.00 limit, but I don't think I'm ready for 2/4. That's $100 bonus and then I think I'll move on.

Also take note that it says on the site you just need to be dealt cards to get your raked hand as counting. Well I do not think that is true because tons of people on another site claim that you need to have your own money in the pot or it doesnt count. I hope its wrong but until someone tells me for sure one way or the other on here im staying away. I believe they are all probably right because royal vegas which is on the same network required you have money in the pot too. I bet its the same and if it is this bonus isnt nearly as sweet as previously thought.

I go home for lunch in a little while and see if they posted my points from last night. I played for almost 3 hours, and I was playing very tight, probably 15-17%. I was playing all .50/1.00 limit on only one table. I would think we'd be able to tell how they're counting hands by the number of points I have. If they're counting all raked hands whether you put money in the pot or not, I should be close to the 400 pts. If it only counts when you put money in the pot, I wouldn't have made much of a dent in the 400 pts. I'll post again when I find something out.

Found this in a Newsletter from them in my email that included the following statements ...

What is the Gaming Club Poker Room up to?

You're in for a real treat when you next log onto the poker software as The Gaming Club Poker Room has changed a few things and added a few things and its offering you up to $300 to go with it.

The first exciting news is that The Gaming Club have changed the raked hand definition on the software. Previously a raked hand was defined as follows:

"Any Player that is dealt cards and contributes to the pot in any way, by posting a blind, betting, raising or re-raising, and the pot is raked a minimum of 25c".

This definition has been changed to:

"Any Player that is dealt cards in a hand and the pot is raked a minimum of 25c".

This means that you will now begin accumulating far more raked hands to qualify for Free Roll Tournaments and promotions.

I think it's hands you are dealt. I got 234 points, that's 78 hands I got credit for. From playing on one .50/1.00 limit table for about 2.5 hours.

Phat!!!!! I guess Ill do it after all but that crap only being able to accumulate a certain amount of points at certain tables sucks. I wish I knew exactly how they did NL. If its 50c/1$ limit does that mean like 25/50 cent blinds NL.

Boondock, I don't know for sure but I'd assume that if you were playing .5/1 NL and a minimum .25 rake was taken on the hand you'd get 3 BDP's for that hand.

Just my $0.02, but I'd double check with Customer Service or Play for an hour, estimate what you think the BDP's should be and check back a couple hours later to see if that is what they gave you credit for.

Yea, wish I could help you there. Just don't know. Baby_Face007 has a good idea with playing a few hands, keep track of what happened, and check back later.

I agree a whole lot though, that only being able to collect a certain number of points at the different table levels bites. I can see it now, I'll max out the points from the .50/1.00 table, then max out the .25/.50 table, and then even do the $1/$2 limit table and be $100 ahead. Then with my overinflated feeling that I can become the GamingClub Bonus Whoring World Champion, I'll take that newely made $100 and go to the $2/$4 limit table to work on the rest of the $300 max bonus, and lose it all. Maybe I should just cash the $100 out, buy a case of beer and flush the rest of the bonus down the toilet. Man, I wish those restrictions weren't there.
