I play a home game every other week or so, so I figured I should learn a second game. Right now I'm up over $100 at the .50/1 tables and I'm certain I'll leaving lots of profit on the table. So far, I think skilled Stud play is more profitable than Limit HE and less profitable than NL HE. It's nice taking a break from the tough $10 - $20+ decisions you need to make when playing NL HE.
