Default Currently on UB. Move to Absolute Poker or to Full Tilt?

I'm currently playing on Ultimate Bet. I had won a $4 freeroll a few months ago and have managed to *almost* get my roll to $600 so that I can move to Full Tilt and get RB and a deposit bonus. Now I'm starting to doubt my decision to move to FT once I hit the $600.

I dont have rakeback on Ultimate Bet but I'm assuming if I switch to Absolute I can sign up there with rakeback and bonus which is a 30% rake and a $500 bonus which is basically the same as FT. I'm worried that the players at FT are going to be a lot better and the game is going to be harder to beat. It seems like every player at UB (cereus network) has a VPIP of over 40 which makes the games so soft. Even though FT has a better reputation I'm worried that it's going to be huge -ev to switch over.

Basically my questions are: 1) I can still get RB and bonus on Ap even though I'm on UB now right? 2) Should I stay due to the soft compitition on the Cereus network, is it worth it?

I can always move to FT once I clear Ap bonus... Opinions?

"obvious reasons" isn't quite what i was looking for. I know about the wole superuser crap but that was at the higher levels and hopefully they're trying to turn things around.

sigh. I'm not going to bother debating that issue however I will give you a bunch of pros for full tilt.

    -600$ First time deposit bonus
-30% Rakeback usually depends what site you sign up with (my recomendation is leggo)
-Some sort of ironman thing that I don't really undertstand the details of but sounds cool
    -FTOPS events
    - Way more players than UB+Abosulte which means better game selection and more fish.
-No history of stealing players money or threatening bankruptcy.
-Decent quality FPP store (you can buy a cardrunners membership)

someone can add if I missed anything.

UB allows you to have more than one account. Just open another. Or go to FT. AP and UB are the same now. Not sure if they merged the tables yet but I will never play there.

What he means by this is that UB will allow you to open another account to get rakeback etc. then the original account is closed. That is what they did for me a few years ago.

I'm getting a little leary of UB and ABS with the Hellmuth situation. Try Full Tilt or POker Stars. Personally I like Bodog but I don't know their rakeback situation seeing as how that's important to you!

I don't play there any more, and I don't miss it.

    Dear Player

As you know the Rake data at AP and UB has been less than perfect for the last month or so since the merger of the two sites

The December numbers we have now have been updated and are correct but for a few exceptions.

This email is to let you know that the final data was only given to us yesterday and we then sent back the payment requests to the two rooms.

They have made the race payments for December and will be making the rakeback payments over the course of the next 48/72 hours.

We just wanted to let you know that the request has been made and we would like to apologise on UB/AP’s behalf for any delays you have experienced this month

Best wishes and an enjoyable rest of the weekend!

I play at FT and have never had any problems with withdrawals or deposits. No complaints here.

i just created an account on Absolute.the players are reasonable, beatable for ->5BB/100.i would suggest go to FT and get rakeback,is better than clearing the bonus at AP.its a very very very long grind at 25 and 50NL.

software arent that good either.and i believe FT bonuses are faster to clear at 25NL than at AP.

I wouldn't recommend Absolute. Moving to Full Tilt is a good option.

FT is obv the safe route, but i couldn't hate on a micro/small stakes grinder signing up at AP just to clear the bonus and then bounce. Not many bonus whoring opportunities anymore you know?
eeevees are not monies yet...they are like baby monies.

Not for U. S. players. By the way, both sites have "levels" you earn. The first month of grinding the bonus is slow, but you get more points per hand as your level goes up. So by the fifth week of grinding, you're taking the bonus $$ down 3x faster than you started going.

Still...get away from there ASAP, imo.

This may be a little late but I hope this is still helpful. AP tends to offer a redeposit bonus every month, which will usually clear along with your 30% rakeback (i.e. you should be able to find a provider that does not deduct bonuses.). If you are ok with the chance you could get totally screwed by a superuser at micro stakes and want 30-60% rakeback (with the bonuses) and softer tables...well yea, you should be able to figure this one out.

Full Tilt all the way but if you really want to make some easy cash id go to Cake the cash games there are very soft Lots of fish

    Default I hear you but...

So everyone is saying NEVER EVER play at Absolute...I threw some money at Absolute awhile back but didnt realize that UB and Absolute were one and the same.

Im a little miffed at giving Hellmouth some of my money without doing my research...but what are my options?
Is the current train of thought that you CANNOT make money at Absolute? Im doing ok there...but Im also just an ok player.

I kinda like the set up at Absolute but Im a donkey faced moron apparently.

off the soapbox...sorry for the rant

The current thoughts frm FTR regs seems to be "sure you can make money" at UB and Absolute, but there's a good chance you'll be cheated out of it. If you don't get personally hurt, you'll still be supporting sites where they repeatedly let unfair / illegal practices go unchecked. Either way, there's other places to make money playing poker.
