Default How do you organize your Databases

I've had Pokertracker for about 6 months now and I started off by making a database for just about every limit/variation of poker I play. I've since learned Pokertracker does a good of giving you sorting options so you can display exactly what levels/formats you want.

I play Limit and NL ring at around 4-5 sites currently and I was wondering how many databases most people like to run. Seeing how Pokertracker imports all hands played regardless of game to the database you want, I have limit hands in what I wanted to be my NL database and NL hands in my limit database. The only way this could be avoided would be to play a certain kind of game only at a particular site. Seeing how I don't want to do that I just made one big data base and let PT filter as I choose. Is this a bad idea?

How do you organize your databases?

    I have 1 database.
Why would you NOT want one database, given that you can filter for any game type and/or limit?
To win in poker you only need to be one step ahead of your opponents. Two steps may be detrimental.

    - The databases get really, really large.
    - Good players (and some poor ones) play the different styles of hold'em with widly varying tactics and therefore stats.
    - I'm picky.

    I keep:
    'stars tourn
    party sng
    party limit ring
    party NL ring
    - and now -
    eurobet (PR) limit ring
    eurobet (PR) NL ring

I open the database I'm going to import to before I start playing, 'stars tourn happens to be my default because I don't play ring games there. This keeps the databases only as large as neccesary and prevents my HUD from using unapplicable data from different types of games with no further configuration from me.

Is there a way to consolidate databases? Or do I just need to create a new one and incorporate all HH into that one?
