    Default Poker Champs

Anyone check out Gus Hansens site yet? Read about it in card player. Looks good and the bonuses look nice. Says Gus sits down and plays a few hands at .25 tables and will just give someone 100$.

Not soliciting or anything. Im just about to change from UB and POkerChamps isnt in the reviews section yet.

I've played at Poker Champs a few times. It's not bad, not bad at all. Doing pretty well for being such a new room, I mean it's very new, so the player base is weak, but there are enough players to get some action. The software is really cool, you can choose to have a single table screen up to a 4-table screen if you like to multi-table. The last time I played (a few weeks ago) it didn't make sense to try to multi-table 4 ways cuz you couldn't find the games.

A really cool thing about Poker Champs is the automated Rakeback system they've got going on. Really the first poker room to do this. It's a pyramid type of affiliate structure. You get a piece of your rake back, and you get a small piece of everyone that signs up under you, and a smaller piece of everyone that signs up under them. And the rakeback is handled by the poker room themselves, not some fly-by-night web outfit that may disappear tomorrow or the next day. Poker Champs deposits your share into your player account every Friday.

I plan on playing there some more so I can write-up a review, I've just been too busy lately.

If you want to single table there, does that one table have to be so small? One of my computer monitors has a huge screen so its hard to see that little bitty table

you can select to have a single table thats blown up a bit to make it easier to see. Its between the single table selection and the double table selection.

I think the pokerchamps software is really good, the multitabling is easy, i dont have to increase my resolution to much to play 4 tables..

the rakeback system works well, with no signing up to anything its just right there when you open your account. Also, the percentage of rakeback increases the more you play, allowing you to get up to 50% of your rake back. though to achieve that you would have to donate 10K to rake in a week.. which just wouldnt happen on pokerchamps. maybe if you could play 100/200NL 24/7 then you could, but that wont happen on champs

this is only for NL, i dont play any limit on champs
the tables are pretty easy up to 50/1.. i havent played any 1/2 on there. Also they offer .02/.04 for you new guys, and $2 sngs.. Once you reach 2/4NL or 5/10.. theres really not much point playing i think, unless you are "ilikeaces" because they dont play very often and if they do you will be up against some serious competition. Other sites will offer a much more profitable competition i believe. Because of this I will be leaving champs when my bankroll reaches enough to be playing 2/4NL.

The other thing to note about champs is that they use 50BB stacks from .02/.04 to .25/.5 games, then once at 50/1 you an take the full 100 to the table.

Gus does come sit at the tables, but its rare.. when he is there he runs a raffle where someone gets $25.. its just a random seat at the table that picks it up, and the money is transfered to your account. In my expierience its not always that wise to sit at a table where he is. The game becomes very unpredictable, So the couple of times i've sat with him i've avoid any confrontation while he's in the hand(without the nuts)... absolutely everything calls his bets... i mean.. once he pushed 9 high on the flop and the whole table called excluding me.. he hit a runner runner flush and cleaned up.. 8 buyins in one hit.

Pokerchamps has better rakeback than any site I've ever seen. I would regularly make $100 in rakeback playing 50NL for a week.

Interface is mint. Competition is above average. Random card shuffling is superior. Very intimate setting. 4 tables at once in the same screen. On the way up most definately.

Oh ya, and withdrawals to neteller are faster than Party. Is that even possible? Yes it is.
It's not what's inside that counts. Have you seen what's inside?
Internal organs. And they're getting uglier by the minute.

You're right. PokerStars is pretty much instant.
