i would assume so they are all pretty much the same.

1)Click on start, then Run. In that window that pops up, type in REGEDIT and click ok.

2)In the Registry Editor window, on the lefthand side, go to these folders :

HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE
SOFTWARE
CALCULATOR
MODE

In that MODE folder, on the righthand side, there will be a field called UCID. Right-click on UCID and delete.

3)Restart computer

dude but there's nothing risky with deleting this one because it's a trace of what PP left hidden under windows "calculator" registery to keep track of those who has PP on their computer.

Hey so did you ever get that special extra 100 bonus. I just got my money in neteller so havent gotten to try it yet I just wanted to make sure you got the second hundred. From what I read on 2+2 the management just credits you within a day or something after the second 500 but other than that there is no record of it.

Boondock, the person I talked to said that the second 100 would be 'manual'ly entered after the first 100 is cleared. I just cleared my first 100 as well and will see if they honor that commitment.

And, I dont know if there was a better way to do this but I tried using the 'Free Poker Book and $25' to start, but when I deposited my money I used the 'Shark' Code. I also talked to the same person about that and apparently I cant use both at the same time. But tahts okay, I can buy more books with that $200 bonus than the one they were giving away.

I will let you know If i clear my 2nd bonus, it wont be until Friday or Saturday probably, considering I just cleared my first one after playing around 400 hands tonight... and homework has to be done sometimes

Yeah, I received an email very similar to that as well, but that was before I made my deposit. Did you get the free $25 they were supposed to put in the account? I didnt and that was what I questioned her about.

I really have no idea. On 2+2 they said no but then again only 2 people on there that I remember actually got it and they said it was emailed to them after they played their second 500 set of raked hands. I cleared my first hundred about 3 hours after I deposited playing 4 tables but nothing has shown up anywhere about the second 100. Thats why I'm a little hesitant thinking I will ever get it.

And no I never got the 25. Seems Shark erased that.

The easiest fix to your registry if you are not sure about it is to back up your registry to a file then delete the corresponding file.

What Allinlife said will not hurt your computer. But of course if you are afraid back up your registry and you should be fine.

Yeah thats actually awesome(assumming you play NL only like me) because I choose his other book not even thinking about really. I just saw skalansky and picked it. It was in when I choose it so I should be getting it shortly. But I looked on amazon and it was written in 89 I think and I dont think it deals much at all with NL holdem which is the only thing I play. I wish I would have picked Caros book instead. But its all good since u get a 200 bonus anyway.

If you dont know about the free tshirt I think you just auto get it and dont have to do anything. On the little thing in the corner I read it was right along with the book. It must just be Large for everyone or something but it comes with the book I think.

Well first login to your account on the pokernow homepage and click on something thats like "check my extra tournament starting chips" or something like that. I'm sure youll see it. This will tell you exactly how many raked hands that you have. I broke 1000 on friday night sometimes and at 9am on saturday they had written me the email saying that I had an extra 100 in my account. I think you may be just a couple hands shy if you havent heard from em. I'm not in my room right now - im on my downstairs computer but if you have broken 1000 and havent heard from them post on this thread again and I'll get you the ladys email address I have been talking with there. She seems really cool and seems to always be a normal person and not automated responses and I think she would help you out.

I'm not sure if they are still doing this. I think they may have ran out of books. The side banner thing about the free book no longer comes up on my software either. On a side note DrNoChance. The Shark code has expired so you wont be able to use that either unless you entered it when you opened your account. On the 2+2 forums it was stated it had expired last friday. This is just assumming they know what they were talking about. You may want to email em and ask em first because Im pretty sure it is no longer valid.

I just used the code this Saturday (10/23) and I did receive the double-bonus and the book/t-shirt.

Damn thats awesome. I thought they might not know what they were talking about because now that I think of it they said Friday the 21st which was actually thursday. Once one of those bonus threads gets started tons of people start posting crap about it and you never know if they are telling the truth or not.

Well, I finally got the money into my account. But here's the next great thing:

I only deposited $460 (my entire roll) and so my max bonus was only $92. I got that $92.

Well, they didn't put in $92 into my account for the second bonus, they put in $100 (as if I deposited $500). How sweet is that, someone wasn't paying attention.

FYI - When I signed up for Poker Now I only had $250 available to put in so I could only take advantage of $50 of bonus.

They had told me that after I finished playing 1000 total raked hands (apparently you have to play 1000 total raked hands regardless of the amount of the bonus that you got in order to receive the second bonus) that I would receive a second $50 bonus.

I was perusing the 2+2 forums and happened upon the "SHARK" PokerNow bonus code. It turns out (and this didn't even dawn on me until I read through the posts) that that was actually an affiliate code. So basically, anyone who used that code signed up through an affiliate.

Before I go any further, whoever is moderating this forum (Boondock, I think) or Xianti, please read through what I am posting and if you think it needs to be deleted then by all means do so. I am just conveying this information for those of us who ended up using this code previously. I realize that it is affiliate-related so you may deem it necessary to delete. Totally understandable and I couldn't care less as I am simply a user of that bonus code and trying to give info to others who have used it as well.

I happened upon the email address from the 2+2 forums for the guy who's code it is and contacted him. As it turns out anyone who used that code is now eligible for what amounts to a recurring monthly bonus. The details are as follows. This came directly from the email that he responded to me with. It is also listed on his website. He is trying to get in contact with everyone who used the code. I told him that if he is selling names or personal info that would be very uncool and he swore that he was not:

Anyway, there it is. In truth, I feel a little duped by this whole thing. Although I can't complain with the double-bonus, book and shirt that I got. Obviously, if FTR had an affiliate link for PokerNow it would be best to have used that. But, to my knowledge, no such affiliation exists currently.

I have the guy's email and will not list it here unless Xianti says that it is alright to do so. I think that you might be alright not contacting him and still receiving this bonus. However, I am not sure of this.

I joined PokerNOW, deposited and played for 2 days. I cleared the bonus and cashed out.

I cashed out on October 31st and received an email confirmation stating my cashout would be completed in 3-5 days. I used IGM, and thinking they would be as quick as Party, didn't really think much more of it.

My wife does the checkbook, so I asked her a few days ago if she had received a cashout for that amount. She hadn't. I double-checked the account online and it was not there.

On November 14, I sent an email to [email protected] and never got a reply. Yesterday I sent an email to [email protected] and was told to contact [email protected]

Damn now that is surprising. It must have gotten skipped by accident but I highly doubt that is the usual. I have never had a single problem with poker now and actually like em quite a bit more than the other poker sites because they give you so much free stuff.

I'd have to agree with boondock. I haven't had any issues with them as of yet. I use Neteller. Made a withdrawal Saturday (in order to just redeposit to take advantage of the reload bonus). The withdrawal was in my Neteller account within 30 minutes after I made the withdrawal.

I think we all heard about this code originally on the 2+2 forums. Everyone rushed to take advantage because we/they all thought it was a "grand opening"-type bonus for Poker Now. In actuallity people finally realized that it, in fact, an affiliate code. Still a good deal though.

Anyway, the guy seems pretty upfront from the e-mails that I've exchanged with him since signing up for that bonus. And, it seems like a pretty good bonus. Apparently, poker Now is not a true skin of Party poker. Rather, they refer to themselves as a sister-site of Party Poker. in fact, on the tabletop of their poker tables it actually says "Powered by Party Poker". They seem to offer the same MTTs as Party poker which is different than all of the other skins which offer their own MTTs.

Anyway, that's the story with this one. Let me know if you want the guy's info.

I got mine too, the $350 took a bite out of last months horrid results. Mine wotked out to be a 28% rake rebate plus a free DVD. I guess that is not bad.

When you have to have a raked hand NL is better than 2/4 or something, right? Because I think more flops are seen in NL and a little rake is taken than playing 2/4 because rake isn't taken until the pot reaches $20 or something. Am I right on this?

It's always been my experience that NL is the way to go to accumulate raked hands. Less risk, lower pot requirements to be raked. Like I think on the $25 NL tables the pot just has to reach $2 before it starts getting raked. Don't quote me on that but I believe that is the case.

With that many hands you might be in the running for the XBox that he was giving away for most raked hands in the month of November.

pot does have to reach to 2 dollars to be raked but they dont count raked hands until the rake is 15 cents which is a 3 dollar pot. Its dumb as hell since they say raked hands but I have figured the shit out checking my raked hands all the time and it comes out to counting at 3$ pot which is 2.85 after the rake and everything under it doesnt count - also if the pot is 2.50 and someone and someone bets anything to make it over 3 dollars if no one calls it also doesnt count. Also it doesnt matter how big the pot gets preflop if everyone folds it never counts because I believe they dont rake when it never flops.

Yeah, what boondock said on all of that other stuff. Boon, are you certain about that $2 vs. $3 thing. That hasn't been my experience. Although to be honest I never really looked at it that closely. I would guesstimate that if that's true it probably applies to maybe 2-3% of the total hands, if that.

Unless they changed it in the last 6 months which I doubt. I used to a be a crazy cheap bastard when I first started and playing 1 table watching raked hand by raked hand wasnt that hard. At 2 bucks its 10 cent rake and it doesnt get raked again until it reaches 3 for an extra nickel. But yeah Im positive cause anything under a 2.85 pot after rake was never counted. It could have changed since I play 4 tables at the same time always now and make money just about everytime I play so I could care less if I have to play some extra hands so I dont keep track like I used to. Its almost funny when I look back on those early days and realize how retarded it was.

I e-mailed him on that exact same issue of the DVD thing not being there on the website anymore. He said that he was still giving it away for Novermber but he took it down for December because he wasn't sure if he was going to do it for this month.

When I initially emailed him last month at the start of the SHARK code thing he told me that he would always have something in the $15-$20 range each month. Although he said that it may not necesarily be a DVD each month. We shall see.

So your also assuming that the $25 per 1000 hands is going to be still going, right. I was thinking that I could get a heck of a lot more (rake rebate percentage) by playing more $25NL and less $100NL. More hands see a flop and rake and less risk playing $25NL. I was pretty happy seeing that I got about 28% rake back last month. I m planning this at least till my cards change, though I did 4 table the $50 tables yesterday and did ok. (2000 hands) hehe $50 just for playing, man I love/hate this game.

Golfer - I believe that the money part of the recurring bonus is what he has worked out in conjunction with PokerNow. So, I do not expect that to change. however, the DVD or whatever other "added" material things are being put up by him personally. So, it wouldn't surprise me to see those go away in the long run. It sounds like a little perk that he has added to try to stand out as an affiliate.

So far it's working. I have no complaints about him to this point.

I just received an email back from him in response to me asking him about the DVD offer for the November bonus. He told me to just send him a request with what I wanted and he would get back to me. Of course, he did say that box sets and the like wouldn't be included but i can't fault him for that. Those things are quite pricey.

The "SHARK" code is defunct.

There are no PokerNow codes or offers. There are no more FTR links.
Just go to PNow and follow the directions and sign up, and they will offer you their best deal.

I actually found out that there is a nice 5x bonus code that works for PokerNow. I'm not sure if it's against the rules to post it here, but I'll be glad to PM someone with it or post it if someone tells me it's ok. Just cleared the bonus 100 + another 200 quad tabling 1/2, so I'm feeling great. Last PP skin for me is intertops if anyone has any suggestions.
