this morning my shortcut wouldn't seem to open up the program either. I just thought it was the poker gods telling me i don't need to play right now. Haven't been home all day, so i don't know if it's still broke.

I was playing this morning fine. I got back around 4:30 and it wouldn't load.

Mine didn't start for either. But I just killed the Partypoker session and restarted and it worked fine again.

I can't even get to that point. When I click on the shortcut or go to the program directly and click on it, nothing happens.

Ok but have you tried open the task manager and close the Partpoker process? It sounds like yours too have hanged during startup.

Or try rebooting. Had the same trouble and this fixed it.

I did do this but it took me an hour and a half to figure that out.

Yeah, this happened to me twice in the last few days...

I rebooted once, and that worked. The next time I stopped the MultiPoker "process", and that worked too.
