Default Sign-up bonus, without being recomended? (Empire&Party)

Do EmpirePoker & PartyPoker have som signup bonus even though you haven't been recommended?

If you just join, do you get nothing at all?

I just added a note to the sticky regarding Party bonuses. When you create your account, they email you a code that offers 50% bonus on your initial deposit up to $100. I just did it this week.

make sure you save one PP skin for a rakeback program, perferbly empire since they give back the most.

I'm pretty new in the pokerworld...

What is a "PP skin" and "a rakeback program"?
I love the feel of Hold'em control...

A PPskin, or Party Poker skin is one of the five sites that all use the same tables, tournaments etc. as each other. For instance, if you go into game number 12345 on Party Poker, that is the same game as 12345 on Empire Poker, Intertops Poker, PokerNow, and Eurobet.

A rakeback program is a program that an affiliate or company sets up with a poker room to get a percentage of the rake back that the poker site gets for signing someone up with them. For example, I sign up with a rake rebate program to play at Eurobet. The rate rebate company signs me up with Eurobet and Eurobet will then pay the rebate company 30% of the rake that I generate for Eurobet. The rake rebate company then pays me back 25% of it and keeps 5% for themselves. Hope this makes sense. I just made up the numbers, but it's usually between 23%-30%.

Before you can sign up at a rebate place though, you can't have already signed up with the poker site. You have to sign up through the rake rebate site.

I think I got this right, if I got it wrong or explained it poorly, maybe someone else can correct me.

When people say you can't have sined up an account on that site yet, does that equate to not "deposited any money yet" or is it that you can't even have a play account with that site before you try looking into a rakeback program?

It means you can't have an account of any kind, play or real.
