    Default Some basic whoring questions

In looking into doing some bonus whoring in the future and I just need to clean up a few things before I dive into it. So I have a few question,

    1. Is there is a level of LHE that converts to $25 NL? (1/2, 2/4)

    2. True or False, to receive a reload bonus there has to be $0 in the real money account?

    3. If the rake bonus is 7x the full bonus of $100, that means I have to have played in $700 worth of raked games? Correct.

    4. What is a WR?

    5. Empire Poker is NO longer offering the 20% sign on bonus.

I would say that 0.5/1 roughly relates to 25NL

    False

You have to play 700 raked hands. Each site defines a raked hand differently. Party pot needs to reach $1 and 5cents taken. Paradise pot must be $5 and 25 cents taken.

    Wagering Requirement

Empire has been bought out by Party. It would surprise me if they ever offer anything again

When hunting bonuses, there are either separate terms for limit and NL bonus clearance OR there is no conversion, i.e. if you are OK playing 1/2FLHE, you can go clear many more bonuses, like the Crypto rooms - WmHill, Littlewoods, etc. or some Boss rooms, which demand the 'table stakes be $1 or $2 minimum -- tough for low stakes NL, not so bad for FLHE.

    99% of the time, False.

Not exactly. 7x for a 100 bonus means 700 raked hands. Definition of Raked Hands varies by site. You will also see differences between RH (dealt raked hands) and CRH (contributed raked hands - you have to have bet into the pot for the RH to count.)

WR is Wagering Requirement. Usually named with casino bonuses, it usually refers to a dollar amount of wagers. It could loosely refer to RH requirements too.

This is the current state, though it may be temporary. The jury is still out.

    No, really.

    Thank you both

Two more questions have now sprung to mind

    6. Empire is offering a $25 sign on bonus, should I go for it or wait and see if the 20% comes back?

    7. I looking at whoring the Prima sites, but Prima sites say if you have already taken one bonus for a Prima room you can’t do another bonus on a different Prima room. Are there proven ways around this, who strict are Prima with these rules?

$25 is pretty minimal, especially since you have a $500 roll now.

Prima doesn't really care about the bonus rules, unless your name is Miffed22001, who is hated worldwide

I'd wait. If it comes back, it'll be worth more. I might break down when you are ready to hit the IGMPay and EPass bonuses. Future reloads are a possibility. But I wouldn't put Empire anywhere in my top 15 until they offer a real signup bonus.

    They LIE!
j/k -- you can sign at many Primas, but make sure you openly use the same Prima nick at each site and you should be ok. No need to be sneaky. There are some "families" of Prima rooms.

Riverbelle/Gamingclub -- They don't want you to collect a bonus from each. Some people get both, some don't. I did both, using a different email address at each, and not bugging CS about the slow bonus -- that could be superstition, but I'm sticking to my story.

Battlefield/PokerMetro -- Battlefield has rakeback, Metro doesn't -- I don't know if you can have two accounts, but they use the same software, and only one installation can live on your account at any one time. I picked Battlefield and didn't persue the other.

Poker Rewards -- you figure out the family -- I think they list 'm for you -- weird point systems, you can only do one from this group.
    I'm a know-it-all.

    No, really.
