Two Questions about obvious stuff Poker Tracker Related..

Ok for some reason I have never fully understood these things:

10/BB 1000 or whatever. What does this mean? When someone says they are making 7/BB 100 or 40/BB 100? I don't understand how this measurement works fully can someone explain it.

The other figure I have trouble understanding is VP$IP. I think this figure has something to do with entering the pot pre-flop, because my VP$IP with Aces is 100% for instance.

Can someone help me with these 2 things.

IF you play NL double the PT BB/100 and that will tell you how many Big BLinds you make every 100 hands, becasue NL does not have big bets...

To Find your VP$IP click on the little ring thing and look at the summary one in the middle of the screen not for each individual hand whihc is lower on the page...

So if I have 10/BB 100 at the .10/.25 level that means I make $5 (.25x20) for every 100 hands dealt to me?

Also, what does that VP$IP mean? The precentage of times I enter a pot or raise a pot?

Yes, and you actually make 20BB/100.

That is the % of time you voluntarily enter the pot (i.e. not in the BB) by either raising or calling.
