+EV to chase flush here?
OK, I hadn't had any playable cards for eons in this game, so i was getting a little twitchy and fancied trying something with T8s.

What do i do?
-
ill just move in on that flop honestly. 2 callers in a situation where you got 13 outs.
if your outs are clean, youre the overwhelming favorite against any individual player. plus you might have some fold equity left. doubtful though.
-
well you shouldn't have called the 15 dollar bet into a 10 dollar pot
then it became a seventy five dollar pot
it would cost you 35 dollars to call
so yeah
it would be worth calling
-
i think you got yourself into a lot of trouble on this hand...but the pot odds are too good to fold at the flop (the pot odds weren't correct for you to call the first $15 on the flop). Your getting almost 4 to 1 odds on the call and you have a flush draw and a gutshot draw.
-
It's a good call on the flop. It's a terrible preflop call
-
I dont think the PFR is bad in LP......and on the flop I think I continue to be the aggressor and get all my chips in hoping for folds, and if not I have muchos outos.....or just give up and fold.
-
yeah; preflop isn't that bad.
Flop, I can see calling the initial $15, to try to somewhat scare teh first guy.
The raise get him all in. Your outs should be clean unless AQclubs are out there or something, but yeah. You should probably raise here to get a little bit more money in, but calling isn't a bad option on the flop either.
Pot odds are definitely there come the all in.
-
Hmm. Fold or raise the flop.
-'rilla
-
Wouldn't have called the $15, but now you're in you gotta call.
-
I assume that one of those players have a hit a set or 2 pair even. So i would be worried about the board pairing and hitting you're flush.
How did you do
-
So, to sum up.......my flop call was a bit weak, right?
Don't really know why I called the $15 on the flop. i think i had been having a bad run of cards/luck and was feeling a little weak. My usual play would be to push here, i think.
Anyway, here's what happened.....
taffy_jones calls [$35].
** Dealing Turn ** [ Ts ]
ckabm is all-In.
taffy_jones calls [$4.15].
** Dealing River ** [ Ad ]
ckabm shows [ Qc, Td ] a straight, ten to ace.
taffy_jones shows [ Tc, 8c ] a pair of tens.
ZHOU888 doesn't show [ 7c, 7h ] three of a kind, sevens.
ckabm wins $8.30 from side pot #1 with a straight, ten to ace.
ckabm wins $161.50 from the main pot with a straight, ten to ace.

So, as it turns out the guy was on a weaker draw than me and the other guy had the obvious set.
