The only thing that has you beat here are quads or a FH. You can't play like you OPP has quads. The only other thing that beats you is 8-7, 8-4, or 8-10.
By going AI on the river, you are doing so with the near nuts, and might provoke a sheriff response in lesser players. That is read dependent of course, but there are some players who would rather call an all-in then a hefty bet, because they believe the AI is a steal attempt....and their sheriff response kicks in. (I notice this is especially prevalent in big stacks).
Then again, if your opp is not the type to call unless he has you beat....then it was a bad push.
Again, like I said, the AI is read dependent, but certainly not a terrible move against the right player IMHO.
