6 Max raising hands
I just started playing 6max on Party and am getting used to adjusting to a much looser style of play. One thing I am trying to decide is where to draw the line for raising\ calling raises. In full ring im raising about 5% and its way different playing short handed.
Any guidelines would be a big help, thanks

It depends on your style really. I like to play a really laggy style and if it's folded to me I'll raise almost anything suited as long as both cards are above a 6 and anything unsuited if both cards are above a 9. I primarily only do this from CO and the button and you have to be careful postflop with such marginal holdings. A lot of people here have criticized this style of play but it has worked well for me. Some people will advocate limping anything marginal and only raising AK, AQ and AA-TT.
When someone else raises I will usually reraise with AK and sometimes AQ, cold call with high suited connectors, KQs-JTs and cold call with any pockets. Obviously reraise with AA-QQ and sometimes JJ. If I am the bb and someone in lp raises to 3x the bb I will usually call if I have anything playable.

I dont play that tightly in full ring :D . Thanks for the help though, its a bit of a shock to see what some people are both raising and calling raises with.
It almost seems that postflop play is more important here than preflop and that reads are a Huge factor in determining whether to go beyond the flop with a hand.

I think i'd be maybe a little tighter, but thats just me.
Certainly raise any pp 10 higher in any position. Too few heads up for better hands to be out there (im quite happy to pay a higher pp)
raise AK,AQ in any position but utg (slighty unorthodox play i think) i just still respect the issue of position with these hands. Probably ill raise decent suited connectors too from anywhere but utg and utg+1.
I also like to limp with A/K/Q with 8 or better kicker (maybe 7 if suited) for the simple reason that too many people i play against play worse holdings than these with a face card (this may not apply at the higher limits i know not) With these hands i try simply to take the pot down if it hits my top card. I dont play these in raised pots though.
