The disable avatars/sigs mod has been lost during the upgrade of the forum. This means that we need to tone down the avatars and sigs for a little while.
What's NSFW? Anything you wouldnt want a female co-worker or your boss seeing on your screen.

Sorry, guys. I've been busy moving and getting settled in a new house. With being out-of-town every weekend until my housewarming party in a few weeks and trying to get things ready for the party, I've not been able to keep up with things around here lately.
I'll see if I can get the hide avatars mod back in tonight. The other mods will be re-installed within a week. My apologies.

Uh, 'cause the content of the site is poker, which wouldn't be much of a problem - just that there happens to be a lot of soft porn too. Thankfully, there's usually a way to get the poker content without the porn which kinda makes it a non-issue, eh?

It's also annoying when people put "dodgy stuff" in their signature, Like Corey for example a few lines up. I disable avatars and the like because of their content, but I like to keep signatures enabled because more often than not they contain useful information (bankroll/targets/skill level/sites you play on/levels, etc).
Corey - why the need to put pictures like that on your signature? If you want to perv at that kind of thing, fine - keep it on your hard-drive. If somebody else wants to perv at something like that, they can google it. Why the need to force it on to people on a _poker forum_.
I view the site at home, but I have a wife and 3 kids. None of whom mind me reading a poker site, but all of whom object to such images. There is just no need for it at all.
Why not just disable Signatures then too?
That mod is dead currently anyway.

i hereby vow to never work anywhere where me looking at semi-naked or naked women while working is not embraced and appreciated.
I enjoy seeing big breasted semi naked women. I do understand the complaints from people at work since the mod is broken and thats why I took my avatar down a while ago. As soon as it is back, the women will be back as well.....just wait.
I think the best question is why are you even here at work? If I was your boss and you were doing crap that wasn't work I wouldn't care if it was naked women, or gambling.

UPDATE: Eric and I are still trying to figure out why the Hide/Show Avatars/Sigs mod isn't working. All the options are in place, but the user selections in Profile don't seem to take when submitting the change.
In the meantime, I can manually change your setting in the database.
WHO WANTS TO SEE NO AVATARS AND SIGS?
Tell me here in this thread and I'll switch them off for you individually.
Please turn them off for me please. :) I'd rather be able to look at posts here at work than not at all...Not that I don't look here at work, but I just have to make sure I don't have any students around my desk when I do.

We still can't get the mod to work. I may start searching for a new one.

I fixed this mod today. All members should now be able to turn them on and off themselves through the profile. Let me know if there are any issues.
