What about those hands?
First fishing on $50NL tables. Not a total rock quarry, but opponents are more tricky and dont give too much loose calls.
More pushing was neccessary but it paid off.

hand1
take a look at hand 2. This may very well be the problem you face here. For me you either push over the reraise or fold. Calling is bad to me because you need a 2 outer on the turn, i dont think you get to see the river here. It may simply be someone who doesnt think you have the queen, but morelikely your overpair is beaten here imo
hand2
Nothing wrong id defend my hand here too with a reraise. Although, i dont put him on the draw so i doubt i push the turn, because i dont think opp would call. But he did so hey.
hand3
Again nice play. Opp tries to be smart on turn but he should fold when you push but again he calls. This is how you make money imo at 50nl because too many players will make awful calls with tpgk. just remember to respect the push if you are in opps chair here.
-
Hand 1 was tough decision for me, I didn't call on flop, I reraised (info about possible QQ or better) and I folded after his push. He was nice enough to show me his bottom set...
-
in that case you played hand1 fine and made a good play.
-
Why are you slow-playing against apparent calling stations?
-
At hand #2 - player named "stern" lost recently huge pot and got over aggressive. I labelled him "pot stealer", he also made lot of river bluff-raises, trying to represent the nuts - for example: huge raise against my flush (when I was betting it for value, on paired board. I called that raise and saw his monster 9 high hand). There was little chance he will check behind (regardless of calling stations). Well, I also try to read opponents hands more...my first level2 thinking attempt :)
Hand #3 - Good point, got me to the thinking. Fancy play syndrome I guess, I got addicted to slowplay small trips (and in next hands I paid with my stack for it :( ).Yeah, it was bad slowplay, now I see the result would be the same (or better) if I just value bet every street in the hope that another potential king-junk holder will pay me off a large chunk of his stack.
