I think he would have thought for a bit but still called on the turn if you push. I think you played it fine. You could bet big or push the river after smooth-calling all the way. He probably was shitting his pants thinking you hit something the whole way and then the Ace. But you don't know if he has the Ace.

Would this flop be a bad time to raise your draw, $24-$32? Is $60 on the turn an option?

Raising a draw is a great way to get a free card. OOP this doesn't work that well.

True, but I thought in NL it's more imporant to disguise your draws with raises than for getting a free card. In this situation I see what you mean though, a check raise, followed by a check on the turn when you miss looks bad.
Let me change my question. Is leading the flop a bad line on this ragged board?
