wow nice read if you really knew you were beating him. I have to say i bet the flop then possibly check behind on the turn and hope for trips/ 2 pair on the river. If i dont get it im looking for a cheap showdown or i fold. If hes in alot of pots then his in them with a Q alot and i think you are beaten alot. Does he like to call cbets just to see what happens on the next card or does he just call with a hand? I think if its the latter you really have to think you are behind. Why were you betting the turn? did you expect a fold?

Yeah, he liked the "bluff call" so it seemed...so he'd pick up a lot of pots when people would check on the turn.

its standard. I think he lets you know if you're beat.
I 'guess' he thinks his tens and jacks are outs as well as the gutshot.
Still, these are the players you want to play regularly. He calls down with second pair and a lame draw.

I like checking behind on the turn. You have a hand, but not one that you want to keep building the pot with. Keep the pot size under control. If he has a Q you minmize your losses, assuming you are calling a river bet (I know I would given your read). If he has nothing, you pick off his bluff. If he has a draw, this is one situation where I don't mind giving a free card. This is why position is so important. Use it to get a free river card. Without position, this hand becomes much harder to play with an aggro villian acting after you.

What do you do if villian bets $30-35 (pot size) on the river? That's a tough and expensive call with 2nd pair. If you don't bet the turn, the pot is only $20, so if villian comes out firing $15 or so on a blank river, I think I can make this call.

ill agree the river call is easy given the pot size and what has happened so far. The more difficult descision i think is what do you do on the turn?

I'd either check behind or put out a more meaningful bet.. unless he's a complete donk 'bluff calling' out of position.. nobody is going to fold this turn that called that flop.

Given your read: it looks like the moron draws I see in 25NL all the time. Does this Aggro opponent raise much? If he does(def. of aggro), I don't see him beating you with TPGK or better or he'd of raised. Probably has 2nd pair or draw. When the draw misses, I feel safer checking the river. Given your read, you played this into a big pot. I would have won much less by checking behind on the turn and check/calling the river. Caveat: I play full ring, not 6max. In six max, I like your aggro play against and agg opponent.
