whats edud's line
Fairly loose 100NL 6max game on Stars, I have position on a smart lag almost every hand. I'm BB and he is SB
1 bad player limps, all other folds, SBLagg 3xs it
I see :Ad::Kd:, I reraise $5 more, limper folds, Lagg calls ($18)
flop is 874 rainbow, he checks, i c-bet $8 (too weak I know, but don't worry about mentioning that)
turn, K completing the rainbow, he checks, i put out $12 and he calls ($58)
River is a T he checks and I check behind...
goot?

Value bet for sure, 50-60% the pot.

A smart lag is check calling you down, and you guys suggest valuebet? I think you're going to get reraised there 75% of the time
-
Good. You'll have him at the check raise more than 50%.

This isn't an easy decision. If he is a tricky player I'd opt to check behind here, but normally I'd make a small value bet that could get him to call with a medium sized pocket pair. You can't go wrong with checking, but a small bet would be optimal since it's unlikely he has two pair or a set, but still possible. I'd put out a 15-20 dollar bet that he'll be priced into calling with a worse hand.

On second thought I agree that a bet 50% pot is too big.

I usually check behind him also.

I bet he has 56 or a possibly a set. Good check behind.

I cant see a smart lag raising any two pair / straight combo on that board in the SB. I figure he has some medium or high PP and is determined to call you down as you havent really put him to the test yet. I'd stick in another $20, if he raises big its an easy fold but I dont think he has a set, i'd say 99-QQ

Yeah it's a smart river check.
