Q-Q with ace on flop.

Opponent was practically a maniac preflop, raising what seemed like 1/3 of his hands, but he was semi-decent otherwise. I also noticed a pattern where he sized his bets according to the strength of his hand. Good play?

if you can tell what he has (or at least get a good idea) by his bet sizes, why not check and see how much he bets on the flop?

would the check-raise on the flop (to say $90) not elicit the same information at a cheaper price? or did you feel that this line is so standard that a tricky/good player would see through it?

Fuckers seem to call me down everytime I try this shit in the 100 game.

I'm not a big fan of the play. I doubt he folds an ace here, and almost anything else he folds here including hands we beat like JJ. If you don't think he has an ace and is just bluffing then check-calling is a far superior play.

Good point. I don't understand what you're trying to accomplish with the turn checkraise. If its a bluff its too expensive and plus what gabe said. If you think you're ahead based on the read, keep the pot small and let him overplay. Nice stack by the way.
