Not really too sure how to play this, not been in this exact situation before. Maybe I should just have called his re-raise? I was thinking he might fold a straight wich is not the nut straight when I bet like this, and possibly still coming along with a set hoping to fill up. And even if I'm behind here I still have outs. If I'm going all in with the hand I wanted to do it on the river while I still have possibly 9 outs with 2 cards to come.

I prefer flopping this end of the straight:-) Know this is low content, but I just had to post it as it's HUGE for me just moving up to 200NL and never won a pot as big as this before:-) Anyways, feel free to coment on this hand as well, hehe. And it shows one thing, minraising with KK is a BAD Idea:)

I think you played it great.

If the flop were a rainbow I'd have just called the flop reraise, but given the twotone factor, plus the fact that you don't hold the nut straight you have 8 outs to a counterfeit hand, you played it right.

With 2 limpers ahead of the first raise, it's even worse.

Yeah, I know, and I see lots of this type of horrible play at 200NL. During my first 2 days here I've made lots of money($2,000!!) cause of others making silly plays. Maybe I've just been lucky but 200NL seems to be fishier than 100NL at both pokerroom and pokerstars. Might change my mind once my upswing ends though, time will show:)

i would say get the money in on the flop, if he has a higher straight, say nh and hope you can draw for a split.

If he has trips or something know you got the money in wiht the best hand and hope he doesnt fill up

KK v str8 hand... what is that guy doing calling 50 in middle position on a coordinated board like that? Thats what happens when you donk around with a monster you think is unbeatable
