Call or fold ?

First off, Iam not pushing because Dewbird has a nice stack and has been eliminating opponents with nice cards. Iam also not pushing hoping Ryan will come back over the top. I now have Dewbird involved but he didnt push his stack into me. Im not thinking Dewbird is the cooperation type and has bet into a sidepot earlier when I called a AI with AK and missed the flop. He bet into it .. I folded..

About 3 to 1 odds. Dewbird got involved ... Kinda scary .. However, hes not calling with a PP. If he is .. Its gotta be higher than 7 7 . However; Ryan is super short M is like 1.5 . If I call this.. Should I push the flop if I miss with undercards? If I miss and he bets 600 on the flop and I havent made my set ??? Hypothetically speaking .. Lets say the Flop comes.

open push or fold. Maybe fold because of your position, but I don't know. You might not see a hand as strong as 77 again.

Don't ever limp with blinds of that size. Its practically serving your chips on a silver platter to an aggressive player.

Also the blinds are such that its push/fold. You should be open pushing any ace high and any pair at this point.

M is 6... Iam not trying to be cute by limping.. Iam trying for Ryan to push for a call. However, this is my dillema.... I have two fat stacks that can do what they please. If I push 7 7 , Ryan calls, and a big stack calls Iam three way with 7 7 . I have 3600 chips.. Your right I dont have much more time .. I am looking to push one of the next 3 hands anyways. Blinds still have like 4 minutes left. I can be comfy pushing at 2000-2500. Dewbird is very aggressive, but I know he will pay me if I hit my set. He will get greedy like he always is .. And it could be a nice payoff. Should I see this flop based on that? I dont mind pushing ... ever.. I push 7 7 all day long. However, I can cover a few min bets into a side pot should I hit my set. If I dont hit my set on the flop.. I can get away with about 2800 left.

1. Since you're stack isn't more than 8x the big blind, you don't have odds to play for a set.

2. 77 isn't a strong enough hand to trap. Remember in order to trap your opponent has to have a pretty good hand too, and the only hands 77 dominates are smaller pairs and A7, K7.

3. Open pushing offers you the most fold equity. You'd be ecstatic to just take the blinds with out a fight, as that would increase your stack by over 25 percent. You don't want action with 77, but if you do get it, you wan't all your chips in on it.

4. Your M is actually 4, not 6. M= the ratio of your stack to the sum of ALL the blinds and antes, which in this case is 900. According to harrington, you are in the red zone.

I think you are overcomplicating this situation. This is the trouble with low M ratio situations. You have NO room to make tricky plays like this. You really have no freedom in your actions. You just have to push with a good hand at this point.

As played I'd call that. It would have been the right call too.

You have Q2 dominated, and you are flipping against KT, but since its a threeway pot your equity is terrific. Unfortunately Q2 would have sucked out.

i appreciate your thinking in this situation, but i think that the short stack is going to push his stack in the middle based solely on his cards, not on anything that you do. if you had pushed here, he probably would have put his chips in too, since that was as good a hand as he has time to wait for. plus, as was said, if you push and pick up the blinds, then that is a tremendous help for you at this stage.
