interesting situationgh.
So I'm holding TT. Do some preflop raising, one guy is in.
Flop: 779.
Damn, this is bad.. while I have overpair on the 9, if he has a 7, I'm out. He checks, so I raise but not too high, to feel out his strength. He calls. (I've been playing aggressive, so am wary of a check-raise)
Turn: 9.
Ugh. Now a 9 kills me too. He checks. Ok, so he has no 7 or 9. Good. I raise, he calls.
River: 9.
Ok, now there's a full house on the table. But I actually have the higher full house with the TT in my hand. The guy checks, and I hit check too.
The micro-second after I had hit check, I realize I'm an idiot! Since there is probably a good chance that he thinks the full house on board is the winner, if I had gone All-In, he maybe would have followed me! Thinking I'm trying to steal the pot, and all he had to do is follows to tie and split the pot.. in which case I coulda destacked him.
Damn!
