Perfect Stats in Poker Tracker

I was wondering what each of you thought perfect stats looked like in PT. Obviously bb/100 is the one that really counts, but I was thinking more along the lines of the following stats:

1.) VP$IP (12.25%)
2.) VP$IPSB (18.88%)
3.) Went to Showdown % (17.57%)
4.) PF Raise (5.19%)
5.) Aggression factors (Flop-6.58, turn-3.68, river-3.58)

Any other stat you feel is important, please add!

My stats are also listed. If you see anything that I can work on, please let me know! I have about 55k hands tracked.

i have like 28 vpip, 15 pfr, theres no such thing as perfect pt stats, it depends on what kind of player you are

Correct, but there MUST be optimum stats if you control for what opponents you're playing. But there are so many stakes/sites, it is impossible to say what stats combined with perfect play will yield the highest profit rate.

Does anyone want to evaluate my stats. I am sort of lost on fixing leaks at this point, as I have fixed the major ones. I am sure there are plenty more that can be found.

mine are:

bb/100 = ∞ x 2

Play good.

Total hands and total amount won/lost is what really matters.

i dont know how you can play that tight without killing yourself...and it doesnt look like you're extracting chips very well but that might be because you have a tight image, although that probably doesnt matter much at 25 and 50nl. im assuming you are 4-tabling?

It's been a while since I played the 25 or 50 NL.

Looks like you're playing great. Your stats make you look very tight. I think this style works great against less observant opponents. However, when you start playing more experienced opponents, you have to realize that they are going to notice you only play premium hands. They aren't going to pay you off as easily and they may catch you overplaying overpairs. You may want to consider opening it up a bit vs. these types of players, and use your tight image to take alot of pots from them.

All that said, your win rate is great. And your sample size is adequate. You may be missing some value in some spots, but I wouldn't change anything too drastically.

If I was interested in loosening up my play for deception purposes, what hands would you suggest to start playing? What kind of VPIP should I be gunning for as I move into NL100?

Any other suggestions would be helpful as well.

Play more hands in late position. If its folded to you and u are on the CO, raise garbage hands like KTos.

Limp low suited connectors if 2 or 3 people have limped in before you.

Only 2 stats matter, how much money your making and how many hands you've played. The 2nd one is only important, because it lends reliability to the first.

So here is an interesting tidbit of info I dug up last night out of PT. This is using the standard auto rate rules.

The most profitable player in my database was semi-loose/ aggressive-agressive (SLAA) 6.77
The second most profitable player was a Tight aggressive-aggressive (TAA) 6.66

Any other style dropped off by a large amount (3.43 was third place)

It seems to me that the most important factor in being a winning player has very little to do with how tight or loose a player is (unless there VPIP was over 30%) The most important factors were total AF factor (needs to be above 3), as well as preflop raising (over 5%)

I am going to do further research to find out the best players stats within these classifications. Anyone else ever do research in a similar manner? Are there any other stats I should consider as well.

I was fishing thru my PT. Over the last several thousand hands (5000) or so, my Full house Winning Percentage at showdown is 57%, my Flush winning percentage at showdown is 57%. Variance is a bitch. But I am still up. I have no idea how.

One thing you will find in common with virtually all solid, winning players is that they are agressive and utilize position well.

You will find that the vast majority of money they bet comes from the back. Period.

With everyone in my database I have over 500k hands recorded. Here are the stats that I found to be the most profitable:

VPIP 10-15%
PF raise: 7%
Aggression factor: 6+

Everyone check out your stats and see how you compare. I'm not making any claims to this being "perfect", but I think anyone putting up these kind of numbers is going to be pretty solid. I found these stats to produce an average win rate of 6.07/100bb, which is kicking ass. This type of game maybe too tight for some. Again these stats pertain to NL25 and NL50, it might not be optimal for higher stakes. I am going to do more research based on position and WSD%.
