Lots of outs, but when should i get out of the hand....

The two players that called were playing alot of hands with ax,kx,qx, and then raising big with AA-22,AK-JT. Then if they made a pair, they would see it to the end even if it cost them (rebought3x between the two of them). In this hand im glad i called it down, it would have paid off even though they only checked at the end, they would have called a healthy bet.
In the future vs two random opp, when would you get out of the hand?

With your read, I like the call on the flop. If you hit your gut shot, you have lots of implied odds. The turn call is a bit more "hazy" though.. you're really hoping to see a 4, 5 or 6 on the river (9 outs or 18%). I guess you mainly got lucky none them had anything. IOW, that they were total idiots to bet and raise with absolutely nothing (maybe a flush draw?).

Looking for an 8 as well, would you have gotten off at the turn?

Ah yes forgot the 8, silly me. That's 13 outs or 26%. Nah I wouldn't have gotten off here, because I'm expecting (from your read) that the other one will call too, making my relative pay 25% or so (3/12.50) - making it an easy call because of the implied odds (as you said they'll stick to their hands). That you won even though you missed is a surprise to me though.


EDIT: little clarification of my thinking maybe, your chance to hit your odds is more than your 'pay', so that seems to imply an auto-call.. however, unlike a flush draw, where if you hit you're almost certain to have the best hand, some of your outs here might be poisoned. If you hit 2 pair for example, you might lose to two higher pair and probably invest a lot to find this out. From experience, I like to keep these things in consideration too, hope that makes sense ;)

fold the turn. with the 5 coming, all of your outs arent disguised anymore because it would put 4 to the straight on the board. this makes it hard for you to get paid off and sometimes you would split anyway
