What's your read on UTG+1.
-
Me thinks you beat hurr with 3 people chasing on the turn.
-
dont chase
Dont chase a straight draw with a flush draw on board (you have tainted outs). Easy fold on the river.

Agreed... All those callers in there someone had two spades and it looks like its UTG+1, Don't throw away chips here when you know you are beat. If you insist on drawing to the straight make a bigger bet when you hit a perfect card on the turn. With 4 people in the pot make it $5 even. I like to overbet the pot here because I am more than happy to take the pot down here. And if they do choose to chase it magnifies their mistake. Really punish those guys for drawing!
But you def shouldn't have been drawing to this hand in the 1st place...

The table was pretty passive. From what I noticed, PSB or close were getting folds on a blank turn, so when everyone and thier mother called I figured I was dead once the spade hit on the river.
Does the play for the hand change if there isn't a possible flush draw on the flop? Or shoud I still lay it down since I am OOP?
Thanks for the advice.

If there isn't a flush draw on the flop you should def draw for the implied odds in this case. All eight of your outs are live and will give you close to the nuts (only T9 would beat you if you hit the 8). You could catch someone w/ a set or Top 2 pair w/ their pants down as your str8 is extremely hidden as you have the two inside cards to the str8. (unlike a flush where 3 suited cards are obvious). People with sets are looking to put all their money in and if you can hit your str8 and get it in w/ an advantage then you will be in Fat City. Gotta look for those implied odds and try and stack someone. W/ the flush draw on board you can be killed by the board pairing AND a flush card. Too many scare cards, too hard to get paid off...
