Flopped a set. Critique?

Another hand from just now. I'd be fine with this in $10 NL, but this was an exploratory venture into $25 NL, which I guess makes everything seem a bit bigger. ;) Anything you'd do differently?

Follow-up: if you put the villain on a draw, would you check-fold if the last card was a diamond, or bet it and curse the poker gods?

Check, call small...fold to big bet.

I lead for 0,50 on flop and reraise a little less. An aware player will not pay you off with that huge reraise.

I think I'd be more worried if a heart came on the river than a diamond. If he catches a runner runner flush with AdJd I don't feel too bad about paying him off.

Like how much of a reraise, then? Betting for between half the pot and the full pot makes sense, but what's a reasonable reraise %?

As always, it depends. I like to reraise so that he'll have to call somewhere near the (new) size of the pot.

With the 0.25 lead and his raise to 1, the pot is 1.85 before you act. You put in 0.75 more to call his raise, making the pot 1.60. So I'd raise 1.40-1.60 more.

As played; when he calls the huge raise, alarm bells would go off in my head saying he might have JJ. There's probably no way I could get away from a set of sevens here though, I like the play on turn and river.

I dont think im understaniding. Are you not happy because you expect to double up everytime you hit a set... I think you got a good amount of money from a limped pot you played. He was obviously on a draw and you made him pay around 50BB's for it, I think you played it fine. I would lead the flop for more than the minimum though.

Actually, I just stepped into a $25 NL game today after playing $10 for a while, and I'm feeling insecure. Or at least, I *think* that's what it was.
