Is this a good fold?

I feel like I'm dominated a lot and flipping a coin occasionally here - doesn't seem worth it. Lousy short stacks. Seems like this really nits up my table image too.

I would gamble here since he is so short, besides there is enough dead money to make it worthwhile.

I call this every time, but your point is very valid. Short stacks that raise without pushing (preflop or post) when it's not that much more to push usually have the goods. When I jump on a table at party, I leave immediately if there are too many shorties. I don't get paid as much when I hit and I call larger bets from them (or unjustly bully them) because their stack size. Seems -EV.

I'm fine with playing against bad shorties (and there are plenty), but tight shorties are the worst. No implied odds and no post-flop poker at all, which are two things that I like best.

(Shorty not pushing himself there is ominous but it will still work out a coin toss slightly in your favour (against his range) given the dead money already in there and its better for your image.)
