Interesting draw: Best play and did I have the odds?

An interesting hand I came across yesterday. Villain called me a donk for calling his bet, I think I had the odds to call. Is checking on the turn the right move? Kinda tells him I am on a draw, doesn't it? Isthe 5$ value bet after the river fine?

Here's my thought: I have 9 outs for my nut flush + 4 (-1 for the jack of hearts) for the nut straight, giving me 12 outs and about 48% to hit one of my outs on turn or river. Villain is betting about half the pot size, so I think my call is justified here. Any comments about the situation, preflop raise, not leading out with a bet?

Villains play: Would a block bet after the turn have been the right play to push me out of the pot, since he must have figured I am on a draw (checking the turn), to avoid odds for me to call again?

Villain is the donk here. On both the flop and turn you have correct pot odds to draw to the nuts. With 12 outs you have about 1/4 chance of hitting next card, so folding to a bet of less than 1/2 pot would be to giving away money.
I wouldn't raise KTs from the BB though, it's not a very strong hand and certainly not one that you want to build a large multi-way pot with out of position. On the flop you might consider leading out strong since you're not really afraid to get all-in. But out of position against 3 opponents who may not know how to fold I would probably prefer to draw with nice pot odds and implied odds. Once UTG bets weak and the other two players fold check-raising could work though, pushing would only be a slight overbet.

even if you didn't have pot odds your implied odds were good enough. Also if you hit an inside straight it's very hidden and you could extract a lot of money.

You played it fine post-flop, nh. But pre-flop you should just check. If you're going to raise with a drawing hand OOP with four limpers already in (which I wouldn't) you have to pop it. Raise to $2 at least. Hope to drive a few, or all, of the limpers out pre-flop and then the rest out when you c-bet the flop that you miss 75% of the time.

I'm gonna save you a lot of money here and say work on your preflop play!! Get this down. KTs isn't a strong hand, ask around about it.
