Overplayed?
Opponent is ABC TAG, player, can laydown hands and sniff better overpairs, in previous hand he popped my c-bet by minimum, I re-raised and he mucked. Can laydown marginal hands.
Did I get overzelous and accidently pushed off better hand?

I don't like the open push. I like the c/r on the flop, but his call scares me a little. What hands call? A8?? I think the only hands that call are 88/33/99+ and you're smoked by most of em.

Yea, I think so. Your hand is valuable but I don't like to play stacks with a weak overpair without a call station/maniac read. With the TAG read I don't get your line.
Does he bet the flop often enough to check/raise? This risks a free card to overcards.
Does he call a check/raise with anything you beat? It sucks to be OOP if he calls you - makes you uncertain of your hand, and TT is rarely improving.
Were you trying to fold JJ/QQ when you pushed the turn, or...? If you strongly believe he has those hands then good bet, but if he has something weaker, you missed value.
I'm not sure this is a better line, hopefully some more will put in their 2 cents, but I'd lead flop, check/call turn (prob would go check/check), and check/call (lessor chance of check/fold) river. It is definitely weaker, but it is likely a WA/WB, so this attempts to lose less when behind (bets getting called only when youre beat) and win more when ahead (inducing bluffs).
