My standard is 3-4xbb + 1bb/limper. On this table it was 3bb because it seemed to be getting the job done.

The second hand I felt that because of the previous hand it was less likely that everyone would fold to me again and so I'd get good action for my aces.
When the rockets came up next hand I felt that what would be (for me, you guys might think it standard) likely to get a fold would here get action.

Normally I wouldn't throw so much at the pot because with this sort of hand I want someone in there putting money in with me.
But here, because of the nice run of cards I felt I could push from the start and build big pots and it seemed to work.

Now is this silly thinking? Or can one use a rush of cards to intentionally inflate pots because suddenly any HUD will have me showing a pfr of 30% or something...?

i dont feel like reading what you said, but im assuming you are asking if you should alter your play based on your current image, and the answer is obvious, yes.

even at the lowest of limits there is still image and metagame when you raise 3 hands in a row, agree?

If you lost hand 3 to a suckout you could pretend to go on tilt. Then just AI pf with your AA. Hows that for metagame?

But looking at your stack, its bigger in hand 3. So you must have won. I dont mind it, it got the job done. Not so sure on how much your opponents' plays had to do with your previous 2 hands. Many times at this level people just look at their hole cards and not much else.

And yet a frequent leak seems to be the "he's bluffing" thing.

I think (no hard data, just seems that way) that people are much more willing to call my raises after I've raised a few.

Especially if someone's laid down a couple of hands to my raises. So if I've won a few pots on a roll I felt that I could make rather outlandish raises and get action.
Now is it just that lower levels are populated by idiots who will happily call a 10xbb pf raise because they have an a ace, or is it really the image that's working?

the word "metagame" is being used far too often. there is no metagame at $25 nl. i havent played anything higher, but seeing HH's from the higher limit players on here i think it is reasonable to say that metagame doesnt even come into play until probly > $100 nl.

this is situational play. Metagame speaks to actual aware opponents who will recall this series of hands 2 days/2weeks/2 months from now

So going onto a $25NL table, declaring in chat that you are going to play a shortstack ninja game, then pushing with AA isn't metagame? It works though :)
