How should your mindset be when u approach a ring table?

I feel if i approach a ring table as I play Sngs I wont do well.

Is ring more about finding the fish at the table playing against them with hands such as jq kj kq aj.

Where as in Sngs you might not wanna play these hands.

Can someone here tell me the difference in approaches in sngs and rings. It seems as though they are trickier and if you play solid tight aggressive with your hands dont pay off as much including pokertracker and all these other programs that ones are using. Should I try to label players in ring? Grrrrr

SNG'S you go in cold not knowing anybody..but in ring you can datamine or use your hud and get decent stats on the table you want to play before hand....qj/kj are still marginal in ring.....yes,TAG play still gets action by loose donks....

also in ring you should avoid coinflip situations, whereas in an SNG it might be worthwile to gamble since you have a limited amount of time to accumulate chips...
example : going all in with AK is usually a good play in an SNG, its not a good play in ring (ofcourse depends on the player and stack sizes but 95% of the time you shouldnt be going all in with AK)

yes u should label players in ring, tags you can bluff easily and rob them and loose players will pay off your good hands ...know where they are at your table and your position against them ...

Id like to keep it simple, I dont want 1000s notes on a player, just a few quick easy labels.

Also knowing certain betting patterns that someone could share, Bet/ Call.

Check Check Turn

Then Actoin on River is very common it seems.

From your HH's, it looks like you're playing on a Pokerroom skin. On these sites I find it useful to use the colour coding feature to label players. I use green+ for a solid TAG and green- for a nit/rock. A loose aggressive player gets a red one and the fishies get a yellow. Really helps with table/seat selection as you can see the colours on the table from the lobby - no need to sit down in a poor seat.

Instead of just his postflop strat, read ALL of Renton's threads, available in the beginner's section. That will give you a very sound strategy that will help your transition into FR.

I think he means preflop.. Regardless of the equity of any situation, coinflip or not, the EV is the most important factor in deciding whether to continue with a hand or get out in FR. If you are getting 2:1 pot odds on a coinflip situation, you'd be an idiot to not take the coinflip each and every time.

ripjohngotti, from reading your SNG hhs I think your biggest adjustment will be avoiding stacking off with TP/2P. Knowing when you have the second best hand is the hardest ring skill to acquire, imo. Start out playing tighter than a nun's you-know-what and, yeah, read Renton's strat guides.
