No real reads on either player as they had both recently joined the table.

UTG+1 was a reasonable player. I really have trouble with these. Do I fold preflop? Do I get it all in preflop? As played? eek! Help.....

Hand #1, You got it all in with middle set, well done!

Hand #2, I don't mind getting all in with KK preflop. The problem with just calling preflop. As played you can't really go on with the cowboys. He could have queens but if he bets the turn you have to go away anyway.

Hand 1: NH sir.

Hand 2: Reraise from villain PF is likely AA/AK/KK. If you are going to play for stacks, do it PF. FWIW, I would play for stacks at $25 with KK 95% of the time PF. Only if the guy had a 3% PFR or something would I drop it (makes his reraise range AA/KK). As played you have to fold flop and curse your luck with KK. Smooth calling PF and looking to spike a set not horrible.

Hand 1- Fine
Hand 2- Fold flop. I don't mind not auto-shoving KK pre-flop facing a 4-bet. I don't think AK 4-bets like this usually so you're probably vs. QQ+. Once the Ace comes out though just give it up.

For Hand #1 what range do you put MP2 on given his post flop raise of UTG and then the call (effectively) of my bet?

In hand #2 at NL25 this nearly always means aces. I have already been stacked a few times in this exact situation. I'm trying to get more read focused as I think it is the only way to play these hands with any type of confidence. At the moment I seem to play them depending on my mood at the time.......not really the best approach.

UTG had 99 (banana) and MP2 had AdQd. Turn was 2d giving him the ace high flush and me a full house. This hand was something new for me to play it so aggressively. I find at 25NL players are more willing to draw and I had been sucked out a few times so I have decided to start putting these types of players to the test.

For the second part I meant I had been stacked going all in pre flop and coming up against aces. As played it was an easy fold but I'm still a little uncertain about the push versus fold preflop?

MANY people will tell you to never ever fold KK pre-flop. I think there are times when you can get away from it. I posted a thread about this here... http://www.flopturnriver.com/phpBB2/...ic.php?t=40629. Give it a read.
