Board has overcards to my pair
Hey, guys, first hand history post... don't eat me up too badly. I was wondering if I missplayed this hand on the flop. I was out of position and the flop scared me. I didn't want to lose too many chips here, so I just checked. When my opponent pushed, I had a nagging feeling that he might be bluffing but he made it expensive for me to find out. What's your opinion?
Thanks.

Re: Board has overcards to my pair
Just call his PFR, or push PF. You have precious little room for postflop play with his stack being that small. As played, a 1/2 size pot bet is over half his remaining stack and commits him to push, either on the flop or the next street, so it's check/fold or push.
With no reads, it's check/fold here all day. Hell even with reads its check/fold.
