Wow you have nice stats, especially your SB. I'm trying to learn to play my button like you.
Raise a lot. Sometimes limp behind.Quote:

I'm willing to bet your open limping UTG is killing your winrate there. From what it looks like, you're open limping 50% of the time you are seeing a flop from this position. Only raising big hands and not raising marginal holdings, one could very easily just put you on a range whenever you do raise UTG.
You mentioned in another thread you have been mixing it up, maybe then hands you are open limping in are profitable, but are you big hands doing as well in the same position?
I'm insanely jealous at your blind play, but not so much at everything else.
When I raised everything I lost money! The flip side of your argument is that raising pushes out weak hands and weak players out of the hand, then puts me in a spot where I'm c-betting big hand boards out of position into opponents more likely to have a big hand, then not getting free river cards and cheap showdowns when they just call.Quote:

Another situation that came up a bit, if there are stack(s) 30ish or so deep playing way too many hands, raising 66-22 is just spewing chips.
Finally, hands like AK, AQ, KQ, 99-22 are sometimes limp (but usually raise) for me now.
Do you autoraise when folded to in SB? You're probably focussing on getting a good read of BB and then exploiting them.. Nice.
You're running bad in EP, I guess you're a longterm 8-10 ptbb/100 winner?
Is all that limping in EP very profitable? (over a decent sample ..)
Agreed (especially some 100nl tables are infested with those shorties), but you'll win a lot more with raising AK/AQ/KQ etc.Quote:

What I don't get: How is your BB less than your UTG, when you're automatically starting off -.5BB???
Your and mine UTG range is probably pretty close to identical. Were you losing more when you weren't open limping at all? Too bad I'm not that good at manipulating these PT numbers like I am for LHE.
I dunno, maybe try playing UTG more like MP and less like the BB.
Strange. Which hands were unprofitable? I know I couldn't get SC's to make money in EP when I raised them so I just threw them out..Quote:

variance, its impossible to stay + in the blinds over the long runQuote:

First, most aren't that good and don't want to play lots of hands against me. I should post the A9 vs QQ hand from last night. Fnord raises to 3x from the SB, nit calls. Flop is A-Q-brick, checked though. Turn is a blank, check, 2/3 pot, call. River completes a back-door flush, checked through. Fnord falls out of his chair laughing.Quote:

And I wouldn't be too shocked if that guy is a winning player. :lol:Quote:
