Hi guys nothing to special in this hand just want to know if I made the right decision. The only read I had on this player was that he was a tagg.

I don't play much short handed, but I would think most people don't get it all in PF without QQ+. If he really is a tagg, I think I fold to the 3 bet and find a better spot. AK plays much better when you are the aggressor with it. When he turns the tables on you, you have to think you are up against a hand.

I'm fine with it. If he's aggressive pre-flop he may be's probably re-raising with a wider range than QQ+. The push maximizes your fold equity and minimizes your positional disadvantage.

OK, but I usually need a pretty decent read before I gambool with AKo. Also, I don't play much shorthanded.

How TAGG was he? Was he supersupersuper tight? Hd he raised UTG before?

When he 3-bets you $9, it's push/fold time, so either decision is fine. I think by this point you're probably behind but you have the odds to call.

Well he wasn't super tight or nothing, he made quite a few preflop raises, stole many blinds in position ect..

He ended up having 1010

I hit my king on the flop and took down the pot. So it pretty much was a coin flip I guess. If we were more deep stacked I would have thought of laying this down but shorthanded I think I made the right play.

A reraise PF usually still means strength even in shorthanded....I am geussing especially still at these stakes. Do you think he reraises with AQ-?

You both had pretty substantial stacks....I dont want to get it AI where at best its a coinflip, or im just plain dominated. Only way i raise AI here is if I have a good solid read.....

Thats whats it's all about shorthanded.
I usually play 25NL/50NL 6max and aggression works very well at those limits. Personally I don't like coin flips for stacks in ring games, but if I have a read, I will trust it.
