If this was a normal $5.50 I prob would have knocked out at least 3 (maybe 4) folk out in this hand. most people would have went all-in pre flop, calling reraises etc with J-J, 10-10, A-Q and maybe 9-9 at a normal $5.50. :D

Does anyone make the call with A-9s here in my position?
summary.
Up until this point in the game I was getting pretty sh*t cards. with a laggy TLR on my left I didnt want to attempt any blind steals just yet. Stack size is good up until now and dont want to unnecesarilly risk any of it.
Hand 31 - Amazing how both of them put TLR on potentially a big hand. That is the difference between playing with people you respect and donks.
Hand 32 - re8, Had that flop hit either of the blinds I don't think they wouldl have tried for anything as tricky as a check/raise. I think you could have taken this down with a bet on the flop.
Hand 34 - Nice thought process Taipan
Hand 38 - Re8, with Triptanes sitting out I am suprised you din't raise with this to take down the blinds.
Hand 40, Tai, nice fold with A8s from EP. Many players would try to limp with this and end up getting in to trouble.
Hand Pantz - I think that would have been a good situation to flat call in (representing a flush draw). If a spade misses the turn Pulp may have taken another stab at it (seeing what he had probably not, but I am trying to not be results oriented) and if a spade does hit you can take it down before a four flush hits on the river.
Hand 43 - WOW!!!! I agree that in a normal SNG Random would have most likely quadrupled up here. A LOT CAN BE LEARNED FROM THE COMMENTS ON THIS HAND!!!!!!
Hand 46 - I can see Pants checking behind here. There are numerous hands in TLR's calling range that include an A or K so it is quite feasible that he was cheking to the pre-flop raiser with the intent of check raising.
Hand 51 - Pretty tight fold Random, but understandable at this table (and possibly saved you a bunch of chips with that board). TLR did the opposite and made a very laggy (and bad IMO) call pre-flop. Pulpstar, nice move going against the grain on this table. Nicely played.
Hand 53 - Random, nice oop fold. In a regular sng I may play here, but not with this table as you are, most likely playing to a nine or flush draw.
Hand 58 - Sig, you HAVE to bet this flop as it is practically the ONLY chance you have of winning this hand.
Hand 62 - Tai, as quiet as you had been lately I think you could have raised here and gotten respect for the raise.
Hand 63 - Pants, you made the right move here folding. Even if you know he is stealing Q6 (even suited) is too weak to push back with.
Final analysis - There has been some REALLY nice play so far. In retrospect I wish I had taken some notes as an observer.

If I had been in MP instead of UTG (triptanes was UTG but was sitting out so I was technically UTG :wink: ) I prob would have raised.
The blinds were still very small so I thought a laydown was best. turned out to be correct as I would have hit TPTK on flop and would have prob got myself into a lot of trouble.
Also remember Courtiebee speaking about folding A-Q PF in the last experiment. makes sense. :cool:
Yes in retrospect I agree with you. I've tried to absorb the things I've been learning on the boards such as bet your hands when you hit as donks will call you down or draw out on you. But here there are no donks so I need to take a few more risks and try to be a bit more tricky post flop to make a few more chips on my hands. The fact I had re-raised a flop previously is obviously not enough to make people suspicious when I do it a second time.Quote:

Yeah, in retrospect I should have raised this. In general I don't think I adjusted my game enough for the fact that Trip was sitting out (well, I know of course that I could steal his blind but I don't think I adjusted my effective position at the table enough).Quote:

yes you're right. I had typed my c-bet into the little box but then I just got the fear suddenly and checked instead ;-) Stupid I know, won't get anywhere doing things like that. It's also clear to me from reading the comments how far behind the others I am in terms of putting people on hand ranges AND considering what range they are putting me on.
