2, 3, and 4 are standard. The first one is wierd. If he raises the bb lightly it's ok. Though I hate it, it's really hard to rep something in this spot. Against any kind of decent player you're facing another raise pf or a push on the flop (esp. this flop).

Hand 2: Is that big a preflop raise normal in this game? I would normally just raise 4bbs preflop, but I guess your raise is fine. Bet closer to pot ($4) on the flop to build a pot. Else hand is fine, its rare I check in this spot (I sometimes check if the flop is completely dry).
Hand 3: This is fine. This can change quickly with a read though. An alternative line is to call the flop raise and reevaluate on the turn, but since you are OOP I like your line better.
Hand 4: Stacks please? With shallow stacks your preflop call is horrible. And again, why raise 6bbs preflop instead of 4bbs? Bet around $15 on the flop, rest is fine. He has an overpair here like always.

Robert you don't think there is any value in raising medium pairs like that? The bonuses I see is that you rep a strong hand so you can take down pots after the flop, and you mix up your preflop action when looking for a set.

He first limped in the SB, the BB raises and then he rereraises BB's raise when action gets around to him - you dont rep anything with such a move. Raising preflop from the SB is OK under the right circumstances, but in this case I would just call in the SB and call BB's raise afterwards.

Hand 1: Villian was super loose pre flop. I was pretty sure I was ahead here and wanted to build a pot.

hand 2: I always raise 6xbb's pf at micro stakes.

Hand 3: cool

Hand 4 : I had like 105 bb's and he had me covered.

If you want to build a pot, then just be the first to raise yourself. Limpreraising 88 from the SB out of position against any player is just asking for trouble - seriously.

Hand 1: Spew. I hate the lack of balance in potting the flop there. If I think he's FoS I'd just call and check/bomb him on the flop. Also, 88 is a wonderful hand to play multi-way in a built pot if the table is a little loose. You need to consider if isolating the guy getting frisky is a better play than playing it at face value.

Hand 2:
Why are you opening for 6x? Hand plays itself from there. I think a 6x opener is doing a lot of bad things for you outside of very particular table textures.

Hand 3:
Not standard at all, you need to tell us something about CO here. Folding, re-raising and calling are all options worthy of consideration.

Hand 1: I agree that play is probably spew. Heres the thing though, lets say I lead out pf, get reraised and I flat call. With that flop can I really c-bet consistently and have any hope of being ahead?


I open for 6x cause at full tilt the tables are so rocky no one will play post flop with me unless a. they have the nuts, or b. there is a decent sized pot to fight over.
