AA/KK and downswings..
I have found out that my downswings are almost directly linked to AA/KK. When I am losing with these hands I am typically losing bad. When I am break even with these hands I show a 2-6 bb/100 profit. When I am winning with these hands I am winning with these hands my winrate is 12-16 bb/100. Is this a normal correalation?
Example: 3600 hands AA: -$164 Overall: -$216.55
Am I just not good enough to overcome these hands being a loser?

Pretty small sample size, but yea, if you losing a lot with your best hands, then its gonna be hard to make up for that. Right now my KK is negative over about 13k of hands.

This is just the past few days. I can go back as far as I want and every period that is losing, AA/KK are losers.

Its the same with me, I wouldn't worry about it.

Once i was running like 20BB/100 in 100nl over 8k hands and i was losing with AA.

i know it goes without saying, but make sure you are playing well. If you are slow playing aces and kings a lot, or if you are so passive preflop that they are calling you with speculative hands when you raise and getting paid well when they hit, or if you are misplaying overpairs in multiway pots, then you might be losing more than you should be.

I was negative with AA for 20k hands but over 50k hands it's still my biggest winner (has just overtaken KK). Make sure you're not playing them badly and relax - variance will always have the biggest effects with the hands you're most likely to be all in with.
