Why do you want to buy a house straight up instead of getting a mortgage? Is it because you can't get a good loan being a professional gambler?

wow this is ridicoulous. Almost ever PS 5/10 6-max table right now is populated by ggbman, gabe, lukie, and casinocasino all very good players. How are you guys making any money? The two chumps that make the mistake of sitting down? If anyone wants to join me ill be at the 10/20 table which I think is probably easier lol
casinocasino sucked last I knew.Quote:

ill see you at 10/20 tomorrow i guess...its just 5/10 its such easy money always
ha, yeah I have.. especially today. I made some really spewy bluffs/pushes and I'm lucky to only be down 2.5kish.Quote:

sry about blacking some of the stuff out I just don't feel comfortable posting my stats anymore just because the player pool is becoming so small. :(
casinocasino is a 2+2er, so im suprised you say he sucks but I guess ive never played against him so I dont know. I think ggbman is a 2+2er also that is a very good high stakes limit player but he might suck at no limit..
I honestly havn't played enough with casinocasino to really have an opinion on him, but he seemed ok. He had your typical tagg stats and didn't really do anything to set himself out to me whether that be good or bad.
That said... being a 2p2er is so overrated. There are plenty of 2p2ers that are very easy and profitable to play against. You just won't find some mega-whale that posts at 2p2 (at least that I've ever encountered).
blacking out your stats is so retarded, who cares about them?? people that play in the games and would actually be interested in them can just play with you and get the numbers themselves. the lower limit players can use them to get better.
Disingenuous much, Gabe?
I don't think there is a single player that has 15k hands on me... I just think it's -EV to do things like that when so much of the player pool knows who you are. We have talked about this and you agree (in private though of course).Quote:

If your stats were like 25/14/2 would that give much away?
thanks for the insight, and no, that wouldn't give away too much. My stats look more like 22/17/3, but those aren't the stats I'm going to jump out of my seat to give away.Quote:

one word: move?
why? I have a great setup on stars. There's often 10+ games running when I'm playing and I'm better then the large majority of the regulars.Quote:

Gabe is 100% right man. Your pt stats are ridiculously easy to obtain. If anything talking strategy is most -EV in that sense, but you and Gabe are probably the only 5/10 PS regulars on FTR. I don't see what the big deal is either way.Quote:

Sure, you can sit in games with me and get them yourself, but why am I going to go out of my way to post them and give you an edge before you even sit with me? That seems kind of dumb. And they're certainly not going to be as reliable as stats would be over 20k or 30k hands.
yayaya I'm paranoid and overreacting, I think many of you underestimate the level of play and overestimate the amount of people that play the higher stakes games. I know that I look through anything I can get my hands on (from PT to 2p2 posts) to try to find exploitable tendancies or lines of thought to get an edge on my opponents. There's no doubt that others are doing the same thing. So you can say that if posting stats gives away so much about my game, that I need to change gears more and that sounds good and all, but the truth is that I'm almost obsessive on making sure I'm not exploitable and I still feel that openly posting a database with a TON of stats on you over a large sample size is stupid.
In the future I'll be sure that I don't post any stats so people won't think that I have anything to hide and I won't have to deal with this.
Lukie, don't worry about it, you don't have to justify yourself. I'd have done the same thing.
Hell your beyond the what do you think about these stats" phase, Lukie. I think it's time you moved on to more instructional posts and let your game go as quiet as Gabes or Fnord's. Your playing major $$ now, edges are wafer thin and giving info could cost tons.
lol lukie, you can be dense
heres how you are supposed to do it

Your rake is the same as my weekly salary
Iwind is 5/10 regular at stars right?
Gabe youre winning less than 50% of SD's. Bad run?
my god i've gotten hammered the last 2 days
actually the stats posted were from this week, which was a really good run. i guess i see lots of showdowns or something.Quote:

This is obv. just a guess, BUT I assume you are all playing roughly the same cards, just limping/calling/re-raising/folding them slightly different frequencies.Quote:

Why is PokerStars 10/20 NL 6-max so hard but Bodog 10/20 6-max so easy? I will never know..
Crappy software = less sharks.
