Lay down trips?
hi, a friend of mine asked me about following situation what happened in a live casino. Couldn't stop thinking of it so please tell me your opinion!
1/2 NL cash-game(max buy-in200)
Player A:~150
Player B:~100
No Preflop raise.
About 4 people limped in.
Flop paired, but no draws out there!
Player A got trips on flop and bet about the potsize, what made other players to fold and Player B called! so it was heads up
Turn was rag and Player A kept betting about half the pot!(now there was a draw;my friend couldnt remember if flush- or straight draw?)
Player B called.
River didnt complete any draws!
So there was a paired board without any possibility of straights or flush, only possible sets were full-house or quads!
Player A bet half his stack left and Player B pushed all-in!
Player A called and Player B showed of course a boat!
Whats ur opinion?would u guys have layed it down?

how high was ur kicker?
should be pretty obvious that the other player has a big hand if he check call check call, he prolly wants the most out of the pot
what I'd do is bet flop bet turn and check the river, if he goes all in on the river and ur kicker is low i'd fold.

it wasnt me who was playin.
a friend of mine saw this situation in a live caisno.
im pretty sure i would have done the same!
bet bet and then check river and figure out how much hes betting if i'd call fold or whatever.

Player B cant have quads if Player A has trips. also, are you in position or OOP? if in position, i check behind the river. OOP, i check and fold to a push. Villains C/C all the way is most likely a huge hand, and i could get away here ususally.

if I have anything above a 10 kicker I would have called, otherwise should be pretty obvious to fold here.
