I've only been sitting for 30 hands or so. Villain is 30/8/2.5AF. Seems aggressive, but nothing too crazy. First 4 hands are against this villian. In later hands, I realize he is less aggressive but a little looser than in first few hands. Probably closer to 37/6/1.2AF.

hand 1: this is fine. villain knows you are scared of the flush and is most likely just betting his A.

hand 2: flop raise is fine.

hand 3: standard

hand 4: good fold. i dont think too many people are leveling you at $50nl

hand 5: reload. you have $19 of your $41 stack in already and it costs you $22 more into a $64 pot. i call this all day with 3:1 odds.

hand 6: standard.

Hand 1 - I think this is a fold. Although I call too much here. The only thing you beat is KK or AK. I'm not sure they bet 3/4 PSB on river. Flop good

Hand 2 - He's shorty. Lead flop and be happy to get it all-in. As played is fine too

Hand 3 - Standard

Hand 4 - I play it the same

Hand 5 - Your pre-flop raise is too big. $5-6 accomplishes same. How many hands are these stats over? I probably call, but I don't think folding is terrible. This is almost always KK+ or a set.

Hand 6 - This is only 5bb. Whatever your decision is, it can't be too bad. I call these a lot. I would probably fold here with the A, 3 flush, 4 straight board

Iowa, I don't get this at all. I thought this was the cheapest way to show down and maybe make money on a bluff. By betting the turn, I am paying the same amount as the river bet and still haven't made it to the showdown. What happens with my 2 pair when he calls turn and bets $20-30 on the river. I don't see how that gets me further ahead?

I prefer checking the flop in hand 3 but your river call isn't terrible. At least you get to look him up cheaply.

Hand 4 I'm all in and expect to be racing vs an overpair with a club almost all the time. The odd time it's the flopped nut flush but you still have outs.

Hands 5 and 6 I like a lot

Hand 4 grosses me out. You're afraid of the flopped flush when villain bets weak, minraises you, and then you c/f when he bets the turn weak? Cmon man.

I agree with this. or at least that we could definitely be ahead of villain's range. Villain raises, so overcards are definitely in his range. If he hit his flush with these cards, he probably has almost the nut flush. Why would he re-pop you on the flop with position?

I thik he has an overpair or overcards with a big club. I'm not sure if I push or simply flat call this turn, but I don't think I fold here.

Why not fire at any flop with an A. I try to rep the A unless told otherwise. I wouldn't think the villain would limp-call with any Ax. Genitruc, you seem very aggressive so why check here?

I think the consensus is that I F'd up hand 4 pretty bad. You all seem ready to felt this one and make good points supporting it. My downswing is affecting my play, b/c looking as that "safe" flop, I would usually felt this easier. His min 3bet on the flop slowed me and made me feel like he was trying to get money in fast.

Try not to say things like "frustration" in these titles. Making it obvious that you lost these hands can skew some opinions on how the hands were played.

I think he says that because
1. you have a hand with showdown value
2. there's no reason to protect here against any draw (you're flipping against most draws, and he'll probably outplay you since you don't have an ace),
3. you can sometimes get called by worse hands on the turn and river after checking the flop (obviously the flipside of this is that you let a hand like kq or kj draw out, but that's not that big a deal in such a small pot)

Hand one is ok, although I might make a medium / smallish turn bet, fold to a raise and then take a free showdown if he calls.

Hand two is fancy play syndrome. Lead the flop and get all-in against the short stack.

Hand three, I don't understand this call. You can't beat anything.

Hand four, I either lead or check-call flop. Playing a big pot here after you've shown a lot of strength with a check-raise almost guarantees that you're up against a flush.

Hand five is probably the right fold against a nit.

Hand six, I usually fold, but I sometimes play weak in these smallish pot situations when there are a lot of ways I can be beat.
