KK in hand, set vs. flush draw/2 pair on flop - your line?

I'm very new to SHNL. I was playing in a live $1/$2 game last night. We were 4 handed at the time and I had the following hand. My appologies for the formatting. Low stack was about 60xBB, big stack was about 100xBB. Everyone is very laggy, calling 3xBB PFraises with 95o. I'm playing tight, unfortunately leaning to weak-tight.

I want to take this hand line by line, so what do you do after this flop?

Hero posts $1 SB (dealt to Hero: KsKc)
BB posts $2BB
UTG/CO calls $2
Button folds
Hero raises to $6
BB calls another $4
UTG folds

Flop ($14) AhKhJh
Hero bets $10
BB raises $55 to $65 and is all in
Hero?

I have him covered by about $10. So should I call his push here or fold? Why?

Yeah, easy call - you have 10 outs vs. anything but AA or flopped royal flush.

Just to extend this thread... what is the best hand you can fold here? certainly AQ no Qh is a fold. KJo I think is a fold as well. AK/JJ starts to push into borderline unless you are sure you would never run into a preflop trap with AA/KK/AK.

I did raise 3xBB. There were no limpers preflop unless you count the BB, which I didn't think we did.

Why raise more than 3xBB?

I'd raise to more like 8-10 pre flop so you're more likely to be heads up on the flop (ie get bb or co to fold)

and ya flop is an insta call- worse hands will push on the flop and you have good chance to draw out vs better hands.

Is this regardless of limpers in front? So assuming in this case the UTG folded rather than limped, would you make it 4xBB-5xBB or just the standard 3xBB since I'd already be heads up with the BB by default?

Raise it as high as you know they'll still call with their trash is always my take. Like, if they'll call 8BB then raise that. Ofcourse if you normally never do this it'll stick out like a sore thumb and they'll fold. But if you can get away with it then it has many advantages:
- less people to the flop who can suck out on your strong hands
- even if they call, you priced them harder to suck out on you (assuming you're ahead preflop)
- it's easier to goad people into making mistakes, like bad calls or bad bluffs, on a bigger pot than on a smaller pot.

^^^There's your answer. If you have been raising 3x then stick with that if you are the opener. It is suggested that you should mix-up your raises but don't do it to the point where opponents can put you on a hand. For example, don't min raise always with Ax, pps, or scs and then 5x raise with QQ+. Especially in a cash game. In the beginning stages of most SNGs and MTTs you want to raise big with your monsters.

also, raise more when there's more limpers, since for example after 3 limps, a 3xbb raise from the sb is likely to be called by everybody with all sorts of hands, but a 5+bb raise probably by just one or two with more defined hands.

In loose live games I raise with to least $10 with no limpers. Sometimes $15, they're here to gamble.

I've never raised less than $10 live at my local $1/$2 game.
My $10 raise usually gets called by at least 3 people, and I am the tightest player at the table usually.
