I'm the hero in some hands, villain in others

Hand 1: I think you played the flop fine, but a turn bet of $7-8 would've suffiiciently priced out any draws and made it less costly to fold if you got c/r'ed. As played, i think it is a call because you are a 2-1 favorite over A-Qs/A-Ks (IMO a large portion of their hand range) with FD and most overpairs (7-7+ > range than J-J+) would've played PF and flop stronger, considering their positional disadvantage.

Hand 2: leave it alone and fold. Sets, very strong draws, and overpairs make up a bigger portion of his range than A-9/ whatever crap he is donking with this massive overbet.

Hand 3: I don't want to go bust with calling a reraise on flop only to cry call turn and river, or shoving flop only to be called by set, flopped straight, or big FD that races you. So, i fold.

Hand 4: Reraise to $10 and shove turn if called and fold to a flop shove.

Hand 5: reads are very, very important. Given a vague read, i toss this probably every time. Overbets usually mean either a monster or nothing. Nothing doesn't make enough of his range to make this a profitable call, and TP probably never makes an overbet on river given your action.

I am in consensus with zero. At each point of your "hero???" it's pretty certain that hero is beat or in a race at best. All except for the check, min-raise on hand four, which I would 3bet.

hand 1: you really have to make a larger raise on the flop and check the turn. As played, still probably check the turn. 'Cos now you're potstruck and have to call and expect to lose

hand 2: your hand really isn't strong enough to call here. Against 67 or a set or an overpair you're smoked, but against a combination draw + overcards you're only 50-50. There's nothing he pushes that would be less than 30-70 against you so given the (lack of) pot odds, fold

hand 3: fold. Three handed with a caller in between I would have to fold.

hand 4: call. hope for a blank turn and see what he does. Youhave position on him and there's no point folding in a big pot for 2 bux. You can't make a reraise and then fold given the short stacks.

hand 5: this is really strange. call. It's likely enough to be a busted draw, weaker overpair, or top pair to make it profitable with the 2:1 odds. Here there's a realistic wide range that pushes like that if he's kinda loose that you beat (JJ, QQ, busted draw, KT, AT). And what beats u here? If he has 47 or slow played a set or AA on this board, shake his hand.

I was villain and I had a 6 (76 diamonds). I think button was trying to defend against straight and flush draws, but his turn bet was way to big, and once I sensed he was pot-commited I pushed him all-in. He didn't improve. I label this player as "willing to go broke with an overpair".

I was villain, I had K5 clubs (pair + FD) and my shove was instant called, so I was quite dejected, coz I thought I could pick up the pot with the shove and without going through the race. But I hit more outs than I needed to, to piss off my opponent. Another opponent who I noted as "willing to go broke with an overpair"

I was hero. Villain was not just a donkey, he was a loose maniac. He has lost a few buy=ins at the table and sucked me out once before,, so no one wasn't giving his bets/raises respect at all. I shoved all-in, MP folded, villain had a real hand (AT spades -- FD + overcard), he called, but my queens held up.

I was hero. I 3-bet to $10 and called his shove. I knew he would shove draws so I had to tangle. Indeed, villain had T2 diamonds and a combo 12-out draw. I was quickly drawn out on so that sucks. On the other hand I think villain played poker the way it's supposed to be played. If I had no read on him I might have folded to his min check-raise on flop. I don't really think too highly of those who just call down with combo draws -- no one will pay them off after they hit.

Believe it or not, the 3 on the river wasn't a blank. I was villain and was fooling around with T3 of spades, made a curiosity call on the flop (just in case he has missed AK), and caught extra outs on the turn, when it became obvious that he had a big pair. I had almost the pot odds to call, plus implied odds -- the full buy-in-he has behind if I hit my 2-pair or flush. I shoved on the seemingly innocuous river, my opponent called and was doomed.

So in conclusion, is it correct to summarise as follows?
When an overpair meets resistance:
1) call flop and bet/raise/shove a non-scary turn (hands 3 and 4)
2) fold to massive shoves (hands 1 and 5)?
