Are these Spew??
Hand 1: Villain has taggish stats so far, a little on the weak side like 13/25, but is basically unknown.

IMO hand 1 is marginally spewy caus villain has a set and you probably (i'll assume so) have a semi-crazy image so ppl don't fold THREE of a kind to ppl like you (yay image).
Hand 2 is sexy. maybe sexier than raising the flop caus the turn raise disguises your top pair monster kicker. Seriously though I think raising flop or turn is neutral ev.
-
Hand 1 I bet less, like almost half pot, so he convinces himself to fold.
Hand 2: strong draw it's hard to go wrong.
-
I'm not quite sure if I like any of those hands.
Hand 1 I don't like because its an unraised pot so he could hold anything and I doubt he would fold his, what I think, two pair here.
Hand 2 I would like only with strong reads. But as played I like the turn raise much, much more than a flop raise. IMHO Floating the flop and raising the turn is a very strong line in position.
-
I like hand 1 a lot.
Hand 2 I'm confused by his turn lead so I can't really tell you what I think since some ppl always do this with monsters and some ppl always do this with the intention of folding to a raise.
-
hand 1: Does anyone fold turn OOP?? I think your line works a lot of times, but I really dont do stuff like this often (thats why it works for me)
hand 2: Nh, I prefer turn raise than flop raise anyway. He has an overpair and hopefully will fold, if not we're still ok

Alexos- yea the turn call is definitely debatable and is only plus EV if I plan on bluffing any diamond and value shoving any straight.
maybe im crazy but i felt like i had the best of both worlds in spots like this as i think he always pays off the str8 and should fold usually to the flush but i could be wrong.
-
Yep nice play in 1 then, you have 15 outs to either bluff or win it, turn is def a call then!!!
So on non-diamond non str8 river, you c/f?

fwiw, I fold the turn in hand 1 a lot.
not only because some of our outs could be tainted but it lessens the likelihood of being paid off if we do hit (and he didn't make his flush)
Having said that if we're just going to push any straight/completed flush draw then maybe this is a good spot. really not sure
