starts an operation they see immediate results?
It's just kind of cool.
Sometimes those results are unbelievably bad though.
But I guess most profit from an extra motivation/focus etc I know I did.
I'm not complaining! Truth be told, I think it's the fact that you're willing to make goals that help you focus. Having a great on-line poker community like this also helps. It never hurts to see others who are going through the exact same thing you are, no matter what limit.
I started an operation in Dec. Made tons of monies for 2 weeks, then the neteller thing, BAM, gg profitable poker.
Maybe people run well for a bit, but there are lots of people who ran bad too (renton, TJ, bode). I feel some people stop posting in their thread when they're running bad, or stop playing. No examples, but seems like a default reaction.
It can be difficult to post to your op thread after a series of bad results. Not only is embarrassing at first, but after a while you feel like you're just moaning and complaining all the time.
I really hope that if I make it to be a solid mid-stakes player that my op will be a fairly warts-and-all history. Hopefully you can lose 20 buy-ins at $100NL but go on to be a good player.
That's right isn't it. Guys? Guys?
