Couple EP hands

Both players are Agg enought that it is likely that one of the players will take a stab at the pot if I check it on the flop. I have seen BB bet small with a draw before. Is a CR the right play here or should I lead to make it look like a c-bet?

Definitely lead the flop in hand 1, I'd lead the flop in hand 2 as well, although I'm not sure if that's correct. Definitely raise that minbet though.

Does everyone c-bet hand #2? How about raising the min bet?

Hand 2 I can understand your flop check and as played I like it. However, I more often would c/raise the flop if I see weak bets/calls like this.

You're raising too much comparable to opp's bet sizes. That said, as long as it's fine relative to the size of the pot I have no problem with it. I just wonder if you generally raise 6x as you have shown in both hands.

lead flop in hand 1 for sure. As played, maybe tone the c/r down to $2.50? idk if that would make that big of a difference.

hand 2 i would raise the flop up to $1.25ish. As played, again i would probly tone the c/r down a bit if you want a worse hand to call.

The 6x raises are merely coincidence since both hands show weak bets by opponents. I usually try to raise by a pot sized amount or just under. In hand #2, I didn't like the 2pr and str8 possibilities, so I raised less and made it easier to get away from the hand.

in 1 i think both c/r or cbet are good plays, and can't see why one is better.

in 2 on the flop, c/r or c/c both seem ok to me again, because ur oop and its not like you have a great draw if a min-better calls. still, min bet could be bottom pair or live cards, which might fold.
but on the turn, id rather just lead out. i think the large turn c/r turns ur hand into a bluff...unless opps are ultra loose, then it seems good.

I wanted to control the size of the pot given the str8 and 2 pair possiblities that the A put out there. Then when opponent weak bets the turn after weak betting the flop and gets a caller, I don't want them drawing on my newly made hand cheap, so I raised. With a weak bet and call, I figure to be ahead here.

Then what do you think of my play in Hand #1. Is the amount CR'd OK? Standard for you?

Yea the turn C/R in hand 2 is pretty bad. You're only going to get worse hands to fold and better hands to call. You're not controlling the size of the pot at all by check raising. If you want to control the size of the pot on the turn just call that small bet.

I understand that I am no longer controlling the size of the pot when I decided to raise the turn. I wasn't initially planning on a check-raise. I decided to raise the hand rather than allow 2 villains to draw out on me cheaply. Thoughts?

You c/c then or c/r then? It's a 0,50 in a 1,60 4-way flop.
A c/r shows too much strength imo, but c/c would give about any hand odds to stay in.
It's 4 way on the flop, I'd lead here, flush draws are staying, so does TP, 2 pair.
