The importance of color is recognized all over the place. Mcdonalds colors their resturants red to subtley encourage people to go in and out quickly. I'm sure green has substantial effects on people.
And the fact that your chip in already definitely contributes. $15 is nothing to highstakes players. They aren't that anal.
I'll gladly take $15 in change when I have 93o. Even if the whole table limps in.
