sure, he shows up with JJ+ sometimes, but you also gotta imagine he reraises those preflop sometimes, especially QQ+. Also, since he's an unknown 50bb stack, you have to assume (probably correctly) that he overplays weak hands. That's enough to put 8x in his range.
And if 8x is in his range then its a call. If his range is 98/T8/A8/86/JJ/QQ/KK/AA, then its a good call.
